Really expected better service from a main dealer, sadly they've showed that it really is a case of we'll take your money and ignore you afterwards. I purchased a 23 plate transit minibus 2 months ago and during the buying process the salesman Ryan was responsive, however, after collecting the van late on an afternoon and getting it home there were a few issues that really shouldn't of existed, cracked Speedo cover, side marker light that isn't secure and just falls out and a somewhat rattly noisy door that doesn't seem to shut properly, the inner door lining of same door is somewhat bent with clips missing. Added to the fact he had said he'd sort floor mats and didn't, there was a £25 fuel charge but the van was completely empty on collection, aswell Ryan promised to sort me a certificate of conformity yet still hasn't. The warranty details are potentially wrong also, but after multiple emails and phone calls with messages left there's been absolutely no response at all, my typical dealings with main dealers has overall been very good, however, I've not had many dealings with ford dealerships but can honestly say that these aren't the professionals they should be, yes it's a new big swanky showroom and given the size you would expect them too look after customers but it seems that once the vehicle is sold they frankly don't give a dam!

prior to purchae, i raised the condition of the tyres, ie 4 different make of tyre, and 2 of them had visual cracking. i was told the cracking was due to car being left in sun,for long periods, and that they had all been inspected and were legal as tread depth etc and perfectly safe to use. after purchase, my two sons raised concerns, with the tyres, as i carry grand children often. took car to two MOT stations and both said although legal, they were surprised A FORD MAIN DEALER ,would allow a car to be sold in this condition.I now intend to get RAC involved.
