If you’re like me and see reviews and still give the chance please let this be a warning. These guys are cowboys. I purchased a car via Zuto who in themselves were great. Initially I had to chase multiple times as to when the car would be ready. Eventually got an answer, went to collect the car today. Firstly I turned up and was greeted with a £360 admin fee which in itself is absolutely mad. The guy explained that somehow this is justified because the car finance was arranged via Zuto and not themselves. Having travelled far I was left with no choice but pre warning to anyone else. I asked if the car had received an MOT and service which was promised - MOT done and they said they would do a service right now. Went to go see the car and immediately the front tyre was completely bald, with a fresh MOT certificate sitting in the passenger seat with no apparent advisories.. really? The front tyre bald, other three on their last legs of tread. What’s worse is that the guy tried to tell us it was mud on the tyres… not even mud would have gripped to that thing. The tyre was changed and service was done although given they seem to fly cars through MOTs without checking them I’ll leave the reliability of that up to you. I go away for a few hours and return. Having bought so many cars before there was just a 0% customer service experience, they are not interested in talking to you- do you need help setting up the car / insurance / car tax. Just nothing. I didn’t even know the car was done and ready to go until it was parked behind me. At this point I’m just desperate to get out of there so I get the car and go, not even out of the car park and the tyre pressure light comes on! I get home and realise I have a bunch of missed calls from the garage, they call me and explain that the person who did the service can’t remember if they put coolant in it, so it’s probably empty. I’m sorry what?! Of course I pull up at the nearest place and yup, no coolant and while pulled over, the next warning light comes up for the breaking system. At this point I think the universe is having a laugh with me so I check the rest of the car over, back seat lever for the seats is broken, plastic in the boot smashed, they had coated the inside of the car with grease so much it was dripping down the seats. I check the boot and clearly they forgot they need cleaning, previous owners socks, kids toys, rubbish, dog hair and mud all over the place. Frankly I’m absolutely furious at this place. Can you guess they’ve gone quiet on responding to me? Please do not touch these guys.
The WORST car ‘buying’ experience ever. Please DO NOT deal with these SCAMMING, LYING, DISHONEST, HARASSING TIME WASTERS. This review is long but it is worth the read as you will be wasting your time dealing with these people. My girlfriend is HEAVILY pregnant and we decided to get rid of the car as we can make do without it to cut back on our finances. This ‘company’ bid the highest on Motorway (£11,300) and were labelled as a “trusted buyer” which is the biggest load of rubbish I might have ever seen. When Nauman came to collect the car he took some photos and inspected the car, completely normal I wouldn’t expect anything less, we then got in the car and he test drove it around the local area in which he absolutely booked it down a 40mph road at 60mph and we sat in complete silence, which was the first red flag. We then got back and he spoke on the phone to another person in a different language so we couldn’t understand what he was saying, I reassured him that he knows the price they offered of £11,300 was already incredibly generous and they we’re already getting a good deal and if they even tried to offer less then we aren’t interested in the slightest. It’s also worth noting that I work in the motor industry. He then came back and told my partner that the head gasket was gone, the engine was leaking oil into the coolant, the break pads and discs were low and that the vehicle condition wasn’t as specified on Motorway. This is complete and utter garbage, if I could swear on this review then I would, you can use your imagination. Ali Khan then phoned my partner to offer her a revised price of £10,800, a £500 deduction, for all these ‘issues’ and stated they can’t budge on this. After I spoke with the chap and told him my job background he quickly said they can actually offer us £10,900 instead… I politely declined this and told him he was talking rubbish and that we wasn’t interested in dealing with these gentlemen anymore. Nauman left my premises and we requested our negative equity payment back from Motorway. We then received a phone call again about half an hour later from Ali Khan to tell us he’s ‘kindly’ increased his offer to £11,000 now, after he couldn’t budge on £10,800 remember, and told my partner to take out a loan or a credit card to cover the £300 off the initial offer which is incredibly distressing as they’re advising her to put herself in debt while heavily pregnant and vulnerable. I asked him to stop contacting us in fewer or so words. We then took our car to WeBuyAnyCar. Whilst we were driving there we received about 6 missed calls and texts from Nauman and Ali Khan saying they’re offering us the initial offer of £11,300 now (despite telling us they can’t budge on £10,800 because of all the “issues” the car had) and that they were OUTSIDE OUR HOUSE essentially pressuring us to do the deal with them. You can see screenshots of these messages on a separate review a few reviews down for proof. No chance. We took our vehicle to WeBuyAnyCar, received £11,300 and the deal was done in 10 mins and finance settled straight away. Once we arrived home we saw that NT TRADERS had listed my partners car on their website as well as CarGurus, Motors and Parkers for £14,000 despite not having it in their possession or even having paid for it! And stolen the photos of the car and service history from Motorway’s listing!!! We are still receiving text messages asking to call them and to arrange a time to collect the car, they have been told if they continue to contact us after being told no and to be left alone then we will escalate this further for harassment. This company is wrong on so many levels and should have their trading license revoked. STAY AWAY!!!
I had a positive experience buying a car, the driving test was good, all staff were kind and helpful, so thank you !! Car service was delayed because of unforseen issues , but the mechanic did his best to deliver the best professional and safe service. The only small issue was that the car could have been cleaned in a better way. I'd recommend them !!
I had a terrible experience with this business. They tried to sell me a dodgy car and only refunded me after I had to go through the small claims court process. Avoid this place—it’s not worth the time, money, or stress. Looking back, there were red flags from the very start. On the day I purchased the car, staff were rushing me and pressuring me to hurry up, saying they needed to go and break their fast—even though it was only around 3pm, which didn’t make sense. The whole situation felt unprofessional and uncomfortable, and I regret not walking away at that point. Instead, I went ahead with the purchase and ended up dealing with ongoing issues, including being misled and having to fight just to get my money back. For an entire month, I was repeatedly lied to by staff. Every day I called about my refund, I was given false information or excuses. At one point, I was even told—right before Eid—that they couldn’t refund me because they “had no money,” which is completely unacceptable. The whole situation caused me a huge amount of stress. To make matters worse, I paid by bank transfer, and my bank couldn’t assist, so I strongly recommend always using card payments for protection. After my experience, I’m not surprised to see similar complaints in other reviews. I genuinely don’t understand how this business maintains positive ratings. This business needs to be investigated further!
