Thourugh care of my car, "misunderstanding" on price of job (resolved after my query). Anticipated wait was 2 hours instead of "about1". The overall experience was what I'd expect from Porsche but updates on the progress of the job wouldhave been appreciated as was the price I was quoted on arrival which was not what I had been given before making the appointment.
I recently had a very disappointing experience with Porsche Centre Sutton Coldfield. As usual, I was informed just one day before my appointment (scheduled for 16 March 2026) that no courtesy car would be available. This seems to be a recurring issue, and it’s extremely inconvenient. Despite this, I still went ahead and dropped my car off at my own expense and had to arrange my own transport. I was expecting an update on my vehicle on the day of the service, but there was no communication at all from the service team. I had to repeatedly call the centre just to get basic updates. Each time, I was told that someone from the service team would call me back, but no one ever did. This happened multiple times over two days. Eventually, I received a text message in the afternoon regarding faults, and only then was I able to get through to someone after insisting they take my call. This level of communication is simply unacceptable for a premium brand. To make matters worse, I was charged £800 for the service. For an electric vehicle, much of this—such as annual brake fluid changes—feels unnecessary and like a waste of money. More importantly, the time and inconvenience caused by the lack of organisation and communication are far more frustrating than the cost itself. Overall, this was a very poor customer service experience. I expect much better from Porsche, especially in terms of communication, planning, and customer care.
