Extremely disappointed. Car was in to get seat belt assist issue repaired, I thought under warranty. Was advised water had got in to module in the boot even though boot was bone dry with no sign of faulty seal or any other explanation as to how water may have got in without leaving any dampness. With no evidence of water in the boot I was advised by Steven Pearson ,service advisor, it must have been spillage.!! Knowing I had never spilled anything in the boot 1 am left feeling cheated. I have appealed to Mercedes warranty direct and will update what they say.
I am beyond disappointed and frankly shocked by the level of negligence I have experienced. It has come to light that not only were two scheduled services completely missed including two brake fluid changes but the vehicle had not been serviced at all prior to being handed over to me. This is utterly unacceptable. A vehicle should never be delivered to a customer without the required servicing being carried out, and this raises serious concerns about safety, accountability, and basic professional standards. Even more concerning is that, despite this being raised, no satisfactory resolution has been reached to date. I have been left without clear answers, not provided with any requested paperwork, or any meaningful effort to put things right. As a result, I have been left with no option but to seek legal advice. I trusted that I was receiving a properly maintained vehicle, and instead I have been left questioning how such a fundamental failure could occur. This experience has completely undermined my confidence, and I would strongly urge others to think carefully before relying on the service provided here!!!
