I have bought Jaguars from Stratstone Nottingham and they have serviced it since. They have been consistently excellent in every way. Lovely staff, they are always helpful and the car comes away clean every time. Nice coffee too! Special mention to Simon today who was great. Many thanks
A big thank you to Alex and Shelly for taking such great care of my car. Alex always keeps me updated on any issues or concerns, which I really appreciate. Even though I’m not local, I’m more than happy to travel to this dealership because I know I’ll always be looked after and the work is completed to a very high standard.
Following the initial diagnostics, I was quoted approximately £2,600 for the repair work, which I agreed to proceed with. When I later contacted the dealership for an update, I was informed that the power steering pipes were only available as part of a complete steering rack assembly, increasing the revised estimate to approximately £4,600. Although this was significantly higher, I again agreed to proceed. Having worked in the parts industry for over 35 years, and having carried out thorough research before purchasing my first 911, I understood that repair costs on these vehicles can be substantial. I was also aware, from researching common power steering issues, that the steering pipes can sometimes seize into the rack, so I had prepared myself for a worst-case scenario in the region of £5,000. When I was informed that the repair work had been completed, I was advised that the final invoice totalled £6,224.38 — a further increase of around £1,600 above the last agreed figure. This additional cost had neither been discussed with nor authorised by me beforehand. I was also informed that payment was required prior to the vehicle being released for collection, leaving me with little practical option other than to settle the invoice in full. In addition, when I received the vehicle back, I noticed that the lacquer on the top of the offside front wing had started to peel in an area that appeared to have been pressure washed. This issue was not present prior to the vehicle being with yourselves.
