We took our son to Purchase is first ‘ proper car “ in August 2025. The salesman was as you would expect prior to a sale was very charming and helpful. On viewing the car we noticed a very deep bulge in the tyre, which didn’t seem to indicate it was safe, but after insisting he had agreed to Renew. And was assured all pre sales checks, servicing and checks had been completed. On driving away my son noticed a Maintenance Spanner appointment the Dash, having arrived home ℹ immediately informed the garage and was told to bring it back as it hadn’t had a service. It appears that the car had to have 2 New tyres Brake pads Brake Discs and a service, which had been overlooked prior to my son picking up his car. They had offered a FREE Service as a way of a Good Will Gesture. Then in April we were told a curtsey car was available and then on arrival we’re told “ sorry we haven’t got one was disappointing to say the least. Eventually we had the car serviced. It was when I asked for a Print Out or the Peugeot Full Dealership History, we we were told the Vehicle had. They informed us there was NO service history whatsoever. I’ve been in constant contact with the dealer for some weeks to see what solution, knowing the future worth of the car will instantly be much lower that would have been. The Manager Callum as totally ignored my phone calls and e-mails, and is absolutely neigh on Impossible to get to speak with anyone. What should have been a joyous occasion for my son as been a horrendous experience and the lack of empathy is on a level I myself as never experienced in all my years of buying cars. Before you buy and after you’ve purchased it’s a case of two very different experiences. I’m now having to take a third 2hr + journey to ‘Try ‘ and speak to the manager who seems devoid of any sense of FairPlay and cares little for its customers after sales care. Absolutely appalling in every sense.
I visited Stellantis &you north Birmingham today without a appointment to see if I could get a couple of small issues sorted out on my car, I was greeted by Kelly from the service department who was very friendly and helpful she went above and beyond to get me booked in and and my car repaired, I was very satisfied with the service I received
I am shocked that a massive group like Stellantis &You operates like a scam. My 2021 Peugeot (under 25k miles) had a traction fault. They misdiagnosed it, pressured me into paying for a 12V battery that did NOT fix the car, and then completely ghosted me. I have spent 32 hours waiting at their Nottingham dealership across 4 visits. I sent a formal complaint a month ago, and they have ignored every single email. They even passed my car's MOT while a RED warning light was on the dash—a serious safety concern I am now reporting to the DVSA. If you value your money and your time, stay away. They take your cash for "repairs" that don't work and then refuse to speak to you. Absolutely disgraceful.
