I would give the Citroën garage a 10 out of 10 for the warranty repair work they carried out on my car. When I first bought the car new, it had several issues, but they took care of everything under warranty. The team was exceptional—thorough, professional, and kept me informed at every step. Plus, they provided a courtesy car while mine was being repaired. I’m so grateful for their support and highly recommend them for anyone needing top-quality service and care.
Watching my parents deal with Stellantis over the last 18 months has been incredibly upsetting. They spent a large part of their retirement savings on a new Peugeot 3008e after being assured it was suitable for towing, they were misled. Based on that advice they sold their motorhome, bought a caravan and traded in their existing car. Only after purchase did they discover that no towbar was available, leading to months of delays, huge stress, missed holidays and uncertainty. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning. The vehicle has suffered recalls, dashboard failures, electrical faults, steering issues, battery failures, door lock failures, multiple breakdowns and missed holidays. On more than one occasion I have received calls from my vulnerable parents stranded in car parks, waiting for recovery as it got dark and cold because the vehicle had failed again. I have personally had to collect them when the car became unusable. Instead of enjoying their retirement, they have spent countless hours dealing with an unresponsive dealership, breakdown services and customer complaints voice mail. Despite providing Stellantis with a detailed record of the issues, their request to return the vehicle has been rejected.. 'because thats the normal experience'. The matter is now being escalated to the Motor Ombudsman.
