Bought a car from them. Took it back for an annual service and MOT. They invented expensive fictitious faults. The following day I took the car to an independent MOT centre and it passed with flying colours. Phoned the manager, Komol, to complain. She was rude, aggressive, defensive, spoke over me and had a nasty tone. She knew I was telling the truth that’s why she behaved as she did. Best advice use another dealer.
I dropped in without an appointment at the Manchester branch, I found the car I was interested in but unfortunately all the sales staff were busy. As a sales lady passed me I asked her if anyone was available from the DS showroom, she said she would ask. A few minutes later a chap called Naresh asked could he help, I explained my situation, he explained he was busy but he could get the keys for me to look myself until someone was available. As I was walking out to the car lot the previous lady called to me to say she’d be out shortly. I sat in the car for around 10 when the sales lady arrived. We had a good chat about the car and valued my car for part-exchange. Unfortunately the part-ex value was too low for me to reach the asking price, a hold has been put on the car for me to try and meet the asking price and I have a test drive booked. All in all, a good experience with helpful and pleasant staff considering I didn’t have an appointment. Let’s hope for the right outcome.
