My experience at Hereford Audi could have been better because the after care I received was not what I would expect from Main Audi dealership . Having reported a problem with the car i bought, eventually I had to take it back to Hereford some 80 miles away, When I arrived the welcome I received was very cold, it actually took nearly an hour for the salesman to come over and greet me. It all felt very awkward, as I said not what I would expect, one always pays extra to buy from a dealership because of the aftercare. Disappointed is the word, seems i had a good buying experience.
The car was not properly prepared for collection. The car was handed over in the rain in the parking lot, which hid many of the defects. I only discovered them later at home on the first sunny day. When each issue was pointed out, the staff repeatedly tried to dismiss it by saying that the car is not new but six months old, therefore defects should be expected. This approach is unprofessional and unacceptable for a vehicle sold through an official Audi dealership. Issues identified: Damaged / marked interior trim /peeling paint off the alloys Visible paint defects Scratches on exterior elements Poor overall preparation of the vehicle before handover
