Brought a car a year ago - all easy and fine! With a clean MOT. (Think all is good!) fast forward a year later & just 4000 miles driven. The car has failed its MOT in a spectacular way! Bear in mind I only use the car to drive to work & back, Not off road racing. Before Select had the car, it had advisories on the MOT yet they magically disappeared when I purchased the car. Really disappointing end, and wouldn\u2019t have purchased if I knew of any underlining issues. Out of pocket big time.
Recently got my car there , all was ok and am happy with the car , but never got my receipt of what we had agreed on to get fixed based on the advisories from the last mot , had to go back there a couple of times to get receipt of what was done coz money was already paid and still nothing, I was told receipts came out once at the end of the month , I waited and still nothing, I eventually gave up.to ease my mind I have gone to other places to double check on what was done to ease my mind as im on the road most of the time .....I wonder if all other customers are treated like this
AVOID !! totally misleading sales team , told the car was a perfect example so I traveled 70 miles to find a list as long as your arm of problems. Why couldn\u2019t they be honest in there description they know your turning up. Checked the previous MOT\u2019S and all the problems were still present but there mot passed still with all the previous problems they weren\u2019t even flagged up. And the rest of the cars are super high mileage with a super high price. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere. And there reply on here is just more lies so they can keep on selling junk cars that dealerships dont want, unlike the threatening phone calls I received from my HONEST Review.
Just bought a car from Select. Really pleased with it. Didn't feel pressured, noone following you around. Easy transaction. Unfortunately I had an Issue with the battery within a few days ( not anyones fault) just one of those things. Went back on a busy Saturday, Simon told me he would order a new one, sure enough by Tuesday, he called and told me it had arrived. Have had bad experiences in the past being told, it's your problem now but they did not make me feel that way at all. Each time I have visited the garage, they are always busy and people are walking out smiling which speaks for itself. Highly recommend them.
