Just sold my Audi Q8 to Riviera Automotive. John came and assess the car at my house. Was very professional and friendly. Didn’t try to beat me down in the price like some do making things up. Great easy transaction done within the hour. Would recommend dealing with these guys in the future.
I couldn’t recommend Riviera and our salesman Chris more! From the minute we walked in we felt like we were being helped to get the car we wanted rather than being sold the car! We had 2 cars to trade in and Chris was brilliant in helping us achieve what we wanted and more. He could’ve easily stopped and said this is what it is but worked to a price where we were all happy! This week I called the office at around 3pm with a slight concern regarding a noise, the car was in the next morning with the team waiting to investigate. It turned out to be nothing but I can’t say how happy I was with the service and concern I received, it was second to none! I will definitely be using Riviera again!

Chris was transparent, responsive, and happy to answer all my questions. He kept me updated throughout and made sure everything we discussed was taken care of before collection — including the detailing and preparation of the car. The car itself was exactly as described and in excellent condition when I picked it up. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and that gave me confidence in the purchase. Sold my truck through Carwow to riviera. Was a quick smooth process and communication was very quick and collection was made at a time that worked for me. I recently enquired about a BMW X5 and a Land Rover Discovery with Chris and asked whether I should book an appointment for a test drive. I was told there was no need and that I could simply turn up. That weekend, while on my way over, I called ahead and was told Chris wasn’t in and that nobody would be able to assist or offer a test drive. A short while later I received a call back saying it would actually be possible, so I continued on. When I arrived, I was able to test drive the X5, but the Discovery wouldn’t even start. Jon provided finance quotes, and on the Tuesday I messaged to say I was interested. I received no response, so I called Chris and was asked to send over my part exchange details. Because my car is an import, they mentioned it the system had difficulty valueing it (despite VC all correct), but from that point onward I had to chase regulalry for updates. By Thursday lunch, Chris told me he would get everything sorted and “over the line” that afternoon. I heard nothing that day and nothing on Friday either. On Saturday I called again. Chris wasn’t in, so I spoke with Joe, (Manager?). I explained the situation and was told the same about the part exchange valuation. I then offered to put down a cash deposit instead to secure the car. Joe said he would sort it, but called back five minutes later to tell me the car had been sold that morning. After spending an entire week chasing and making it very clear that I wanted to buy the vehicle, this was incredibly frustrating. Joe said he would look into what went wrong and come back to me on Sunday or Monday. It’s now Wednesday and I’ve still heard nothing. To make matters worse, the car is still listed online as available for sale. Very disappointing experience. I was ready to buy but had to chase every step of the process. If this is the level of service when someone is trying to buy a car, it doesn’t inspire much confidence in the support you’d receive after the sale. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
