Wish I'd bought the car on my credit card, I'd be issuing section 75. Sold me 4 grands worth of scrap. Greasy car salesman, same as every other Greasy car salesman. Quoted 400 quid for diamondbrite inside and out, I asked the price of just the outer paint, he did the paint and charged me 400 quid without discussing with me first! Thermostat and housing needs replacing, air and oil pipes all leaking, turbo knacked,exhaust system knackered and possibly the timing chain. I can't find a mechanic prepared to repair it, I can't get to work.. I cannot earm money.. 2 months.. 4 grand.. you have destroyed me,thankyou

Simon and the team at Richardsons went above and beyond to get my new car prepped for collection. I put an online deposit on the vehicle to reserve it on a Sunday, when they were closed, but Simon still contacted me to check if I had any questions or wanted a walk round video - on his day off! I said to Simon that I only wanted to do one journey to the garage, so Simon arranged for the car to be MOTd and serviced the next day and kept me informed of the progress so I didn’t travel unnecessarily. On site there was no pressure put on at any time, I was able to check the vehicle over and took it out for a test drive. We then agreed a fair part exchange value, did the paperwork and off I drove, very happy! My experience buying and part exchanging with them has been very positive. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

I bought a used car here in September 2025 - low mileage 12 plate Mercedes A Class. Very pleased with the car (after 4 months). I recently purchased a new car from Richardson’s and couldn’t be happier with the service I received. I traded in my old car and was given a competitive price. The process was explained fully to me and I never felt railroaded or bamboozled. Adi is very knowledgeable, polite and personable. He made the car buying process stress free. My new car was MOT’d and serviced for me just before I collected it and they even did additional work to the car because there was no evidence it had been done previously. Cannot fault the process one bit and I would definitely return and recommend to anyone who requires a new car.

I recently purchased a new car with Richardsons and was very happy with the overall experience. I felt the communication with Adi and Simon was excellent and they endeavoured to work around my needs with the test drive, part exchange, and sales process, as well as some aftercare needs. The car had been meticulously returned to near new condition by the team, amazing given it's age, and was given an MOT and service before I took it away. Overall I was very impressed with Richardsons and would recommend them to anyone looking for a new car in the area. Thank you to Adi and Simon!

I’m absolutely pleased with the purchase of my car. From start to finish Simon was very helpful and dealt with every query we had. When we viewed the car there were some issues but Simon did promise to fix the issues, he kept his promise and all problems and all issues were resolved. Due to one of the issues that the car had, I did have to wait for quite some time (2 weeks+) but Simon did keep me updated throughout and once all issues were resolved and the car was ready, Simon offered to deliver the car to me in Hemel Hempstead (100+ miles away) out of good will. One last thing, after 3 or 4 days of the car being delivered to us, it was unfortunate that the windscreen cracked on me, I did notify Simon about it and he got a hold of a windscreen specialist in my area, they came to replace my windscreen and Simon paid for it (which he didn’t really have to). So a big THANK YOU to Richardsons car sales team and a special thanks to Simon for looking after us throughout the whole process. Definitely highly recommend this company to anyone looking to buy a car, they will look after you.
