I bought my first car just before passing my driving test from this garage. Traveled the whole way from Inverness, where a lift was organised by the garage for us from the train station to the garage itself, so that was nice. When we got dropped off, we were basically ignored. For us being people who were interested in buying a car, they didn\u2019t seem to be too bothered about our custom. Myself (I know nothing about cars) and my boyfriend (slightly more savvy) asked if we wanted to take it a test drive, to which they said yes. He just handed us the keys and just told us to go. He didn\u2019t check our licenses or insure us or anything! I could have easily driven it myself (I hadn\u2019t passed my test yet) as he didn\u2019t check! When we got back, we asked about service history, he told us they didn\u2019t have the service history of the car, but that it had been serviced just 6 weeks before. Me, being in love with the look and brand of the car, bought it on the spot. 3 days after passing my test (3 weeks after purchasing car) the EML started coming on when going above 60/70mph. I got in touch and asked him again if there was any history of servicing or if he could at least provide proof that he serviced it. This was not an option. We didn\u2019t get any receipts or anything or proof of purchase when buying the car, very unprofessional. I have just had to get the car serviced by my family friend, who said the car actually had an engine misfire. Avoid this garage at all costs. I say garage, it\u2019s actually more like a shed in a gravel carpark. AVOID!!
Bought a car from this garage only for warning lights to start coming on a couple of weeks later. Upon further investigation found that the car had failed its MOT 3 days before passing a further one and all the issues listed on the original failure still seem to be there. Selling dangerous vehicles to people with families is completely unethical. I HIGHLY recommend steering well clear of this garage.
Had an absolute terrible experience at this Garage. I was sold a car they knew had serious issues. Within a few days of buying, dashboard lights were flashing all over. It was never fixed! Exhaust was gone in the car and they said it was the "way a Ford was made" that the exhaust was "lower at the back". Not long later when car had just gone out of warranty they said it needed a new exhaust. Car had a leak ( I took photos and sent it to them), said they had repaired it - they hadn't. Car ended up near exploding on Motorway with my 2 children it, burnt all my hand. Garage charged me for a leak they NEVER fixed. I ask you to THINK TWICE in purchasing from this Garage. No ethics or integrity employed there and certainly NOT for the vulnerable customer. Please. THINK TWICE and have a mechanic with you if you are that desperate. The car I purchased was NOT Road worthy and was a danger to drive.!!!!
