We paid in full for our Nissan Leaf and were given confirmation for collection, only to arrive and be told the car was not actually ready. This caused unnecessary inconvenience and wasted our time. When we eventually received the car, it was only charged to 29% (we waited 30 mins then charged to 51%) despite us paying an additional £20 charging fee. A refund was processed, but 5 mins later the transaction showed as “reversed” in our bank account. The condition of the vehicle on handover was also below expectations. Compared to the standard of preparation we experienced with our previous MG5 (purchased in chorley branch), the car was noticeably not cleaned or presented to an acceptable standard. To make matters worse, one of the supplied keys was not functioning, even after replacing the battery ourselves. Overall, this has been a frustrating and disappointing handover experience with poor communication and lack of attention to detail.
I purchased a MINI from Chorley MG and dealt with Alex remotely via email and telephone. He was friendly, professional and courteous at all times. He managed to arrange the purchase at 3pm and by 5pm the car was prepped and on the back of a loader to be transported to me. It arrived just before midnight on the same day. I couldn’t be happier with the service provided and the quality of the car.
