This is 5th car ive purchased from Prestige cars kent and best customer service to date. Joe kearns was our sales person this time and he went above and beyond for me with all my annoying queries,requests & questions. He done nothing but be attentive he even came in on his day off for my hand over to ensure it all went smoothly. My car i picked up was charged,fuel put in and everything shown in it how it works for me. I cant rave enough how much of a credit he is to the company & really deserves recognition 👏
The total lack of communication at all stages of the purchase of this car has been absolutely appalling. Someone needs to take these people aside and tell them they are working in customer service. Every time I've had legitimate questions (some of which are extremely important concerning law and suchlike) except when concerning transferring my hard earned funds to Prestige, There has been ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE - AT ALL!. I still have ongoing important issues with the car that need resolving, such as the vehicled not being taxed yet and the cars' firmware still being registered to the last owner, disabling me from any of the remote features and the tracker. NO ONE is answering me!. I cannot recommend this vendor. Clearly they're only interested in more expensive transactions than mine, selling finance arrangements, warranties and extras. I thought, maybe the age of the soulless uncaring car dealer was behind us but it seems it's alive and well at Prestige Cars Kent. Please avoid!
I had a really positive experience with Fraser and the entire team. From start to finish, everything was handled smoothly and professionally, which made the whole process stress-free. Fraser was especially helpful and went the extra mile to secure me a lower interest rate, which I truly appreciated. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable with each step. All the staff I interacted with were friendly, supportive, and efficient, and it genuinely felt like they cared about giving me the best possible outcome. Communication with this dealer was very poor from the very beginning. Initial contact was only possible via WhatsApp through an unknown person who passed my questions on to the salesperson. Billy eventually called me, answered my questions, and we agreed I would collect the car on Saturday. However, any later questions again had to go through WhatsApp, where I was ignored until after I paid the reservation fee. I had made it very clear to Billy that I was travelling from Aberdeen and intended to buy the car immediately, which is why I asked detailed questions in advance. He assured me the car was in very good condition, with only minor stone chips, and that it would be ready for the road. On the day of collection, Billy was off, and Joshua picked me up from the station instead. That part was fine, but the car was clearly not prepared for sale. It was dirty inside and out, and during inspection, I found multiple issues: the boot lid rubbing against the trim, heavily scratched plastic in the boot area, a deep scratch on one door, and another deep scratch on the front bumper (required painting). These were not minor imperfections and should have been identified long before collection. Because there was not enough time to fix things properly on the day, Joshua waived the £250 admin fee, added £60 for fuel(!!!!), and reduced the extended warranty by £100. I appreciate that Joshua and Keeley tried to help and handled their parts professionally, but they were clearly dealing with problems caused by Billy’s poor preparation and weak handover. The dealership presents itself as a prestige car dealer and claims to carry out a rigorous inspection (175-Point Quality Check - nice joke!!), but based on my experience this feels more like marketing than reality. I was also quoted three different prices for the car during the process, which only added to the frustration and confusion. The entire handover took far too long, from around 10:30 to 15:00, and even after I got home more problems appeared. At around 70 mph the steering wheel vibrates slightly, most likely due to poor wheel balancing after new tyres were fitted. I also discovered that the second key was not working. Prestige did offer to cover the repair or replacement, but again, communication was poor, and it took weeks to resolve. Overall, this was a very disappointing buying experience. The car was not prepared for sale at all, communication was consistently poor, and the level of service fell well below what I would expect from a dealer selling “prestige” vehicles.
We had a great experience with James this weekend. He was very professional, polite and very knowledgeable about the different build specifications for the car model we were interested in, especially with the additional explanations on some of the lesser known functions on the car during the test drive. We would highly recommend Prestige Cars... and ask for James!
Had fabulous service with Sam today. Sam was very professional, great with communication and answered all of our questions with ease.
