The new car had faults from day one. Although these have since been fixed, it took over a month, and was after I was told that the car had gone through a full inspection (which took over a week, despite me being told that the car would be available to pick up the day after I signed the agreement). When I received the car it was not of the specificaiton sold to me e.g. missing head-up display, entertainment system, lighting etc. I was put under a lot of pressure by the sales team to sign the contract prior to the month-end. They never provided the specification sheet to me. When I queried it, they seemed to want to pass the buck between themselves as to who was responsible for this. I was told by the sales manager that he would take steps to resolve my issues, but I have heard nothing from him since. I have asked for the complaints procedure twice and this has still not been provided to me.
I am extremely disappointed with the level of service and aftercare I have received from Audi Tamworth. Given that Audi positions itself as a premium brand and that Stratstone allegedly "care about their customers, aiming to provide the best customer service" the experience has been far below what anyone would reasonably expect. From the outset, the V5 was not processed correctly at the showroom. As a result, I had to complete and send off a V62 form myself to resolve the issue. Although the dealership eventually reimbursed the fee and postage, this still took over a week to process and required me to chase multiple times. More importantly, the delay and inconvenience ultimately caused a potential sale to fall through, costing me both time and money. Communication throughout has been extremely poor. I have repeatedly had to chase the senior sales executive I was dealing with for basic updates and answers. Calls are rarely returned, and emails are very seldom responded to unless I follow up multiple times. Overall, the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and failure to properly handle straightforward administrative processes has been incredibly frustrating. I am genuinely disgusted with the service I have received and extremely disappointed that this is the level of aftercare provided by a dealership representing a premium brand like Audi. I would strongly urge Audi Tamworth to review its customer service standards, as my experience has fallen well short of what should be expected. Yes, this has already been raised as a complaint twice through Stratstone themselves, who didn't bother to reply to me and so I had to raise a complaint directly with Audi UK. The end result was still disappointing, especially since Audi UK advised Audi Tamworth to get in touch with myself and they couldn't be bothered to even call me and apologise for the poor service I received. In summary, this has severely impacted my opinion and view of Audi and Stratstone. I strongly advise to go elsewhere for your Audi unless you enjoy simple administrative errors and the near absence of communication.
The staff at Porsche are some of the friendliest people. From the reception staff who are warm, welcoming and helpful, Chloe, Senior Service Advisor is exceptionally efficient and knowledgable and Amber, Sales Executive is knowledgeable and clearly focused when dealing with the client. The overall impression is of a strong team who are a credit to Porsche.
