This is our third time looking and test driving cars here at motorwize. It's an honest used car sales place, ranging from high mileage well used cars at the bottom to performance sports coup\xe9's. Didn't test drive the Masaratti Grand Cabrio they had in stock, but did take a campervan and an Octavia Estate out. No high pressure sales, not silly prices. Id happily recommend them. Good friendly but relaxed service. One happy customer here. A new auto estate on my drive, thanks guys. 57mpg on a recent run out. Nice one cheers.
I had an excellent experience with Motorwise from start to finish. The entire sales transaction was seamlessly executed, with no hassle at any stage. Everything was handled efficiently and professionally, making the process smooth and stress-free. Knowledgeable, responsive, and clearly committed to providing top-quality service. I truly appreciated how straightforward and transparent everything was. I would highly recommend Motorwise to anyone looking for a reliable and professional service. A well-deserved 5 stars!
I had a great experience selling my car to Joss through AutoTrader Auction. The whole process was smooth and hassle-free from start to finish. Once I accepted the offer, everything moved quickly — the car was collected as arranged, and communication throughout was clear and professional. Payment was handled efficiently with no delays, which gave me real peace of mind. Overall, a straightforward and reliable transaction. I’d happily recommend Joss to anyone looking for a simple and trustworthy sale.
Absolutely shocking experience with Motorwise – avoid at all costs. I purchased a vehicle through finance expecting a basic level of professionalism and reliability, but what followed was nothing but stress, delays, and complete lack of accountability. The car was sold to me with a fault, specifically relating to the drivetrain/transfer box area. After raising the issue, Motorwise initially agreed to carry out repairs, which gave me some reassurance. However, over time it became clear they were trying to avoid properly fixing the issue — instead attempting to minimise the work (for example focusing only on the propshaft rather than addressing the full problem). Communication throughout was extremely poor. Emails were delayed or ignored, and phone calls went unanswered. I constantly had to chase for updates with no clear answers being provided. The most unacceptable part of this entire situation is that the dealership then decided to pull out of the agreed repairs altogether and proceeded to start unwinding the finance agreement — without my consent or proper discussion. I only found this out through the finance broker, not directly from Motorwise, which is completely unprofessional. This has left me out of pocket, dealing with ongoing inconvenience, including diagnostic costs, repair-related expenses, and the need for alternative transport. The situation has been handled in a way that shows a complete disregard for customer responsibility. To summarise: - Sold a faulty vehicle - Attempted to avoid proper repairs - Poor communication and delays - Backed out of agreed work - Took action on the finance without proper authorisation - Caused financial loss and inconvenience I will be escalating this matter further, including raising a complaint with the Financial Ombudsman. I strongly advise anyone considering buying from Motorwise to think twice. This has been one of the worst car buying experiences I’ve had.
I sold my car to Joss, the owner of Motor Wise company in Lincoln and I am very satisfied with the experience. Even though I had very limited availability for collection, he responded quickly and arrived within one day. The inspection process was quick and he offered a fair price for the car. I really appreciate his understanding, professionalism, and helpful attitude. Highly recommended!
