This is the second car I’ve purchased from Motor Range Liverpool. 1st Experience was amazing hence my return. I Saw my car, purchased my car and I was pleased that they found a lender to help me purchase the car. I couldn’t be more thankful z I purchased it on the Wednesday and I didn’t get any idea what was going on till the Friday/Saturday and I didn’t have a definitive answer when my car would be ready. I felt like I was a Nuisance and pestering my sales associates calling and messaging but didn’t really get a response. I would just suggest that keep your customers up to date, buying a car is a big purchase and spending around £15K, I expected you to be a little bit more proactive in keeping me updated at every step of the process. rather than me calling and sending text messages that went unanswered The following Tuesday I finally got a call and I was told that the car needed a valet and some work doing on the scuffs on the alloys and I could either wait for the work to be done or pick up and then bring it back in ? I had waited almost a week and asked could I get it that day and it was agreed. When I got home and had a real chance to have a look around the new car, as when you get the keys you are just excited and eager to drive away. I Noticed the Valet wasn’t the best, it looked like it was given a quick wipe over but it did have the new car small. I also didn’t notice till I got home that the Towing Cover Cap was missing but wasn’t missing on the pictures online. I already felt like an inconvenience buying the car so I just chose to purchase the new Towing cover to the cost of £18 from a BMW reseller. I was told my Alloys would be looked at but I’ve heard nothing back and no one’s called to chase it up so I think I Will just get them refurbished myself. I’m super happy with the Car I really and just disappointed that the service could have been better, I genuinely feel like as I didn’t purchase any other extras like the warranty and the paint cover (As the lender wouldn’t loan they money for these) that my service was reflected in that. I was given the keys and that’s it. As I was over the moon with the car I was actually going to return and purchase the warranty and cover and pay upfront for it the next day but when I reflected on the lack of service I decided to purchase it from another provider.
Very happy with my experience overall had an issue with my vehicle shortly after purchase and Leighton was amazing he looked after me gave me a courtesy car while they repaired my vehicle no questions asked. Leighton the sales manager went above and beyond and i couldn’t have asked for anything more. Be confident knowing if any issues pop up motor range Manchester will look after you.
I feel really disappointed with my experience dealing with this company, I part exchanged a BMW 2series for a BMW i3, I was initially offered only £6000 for my car, the car I bought was just over £10000. When I said I was going to look at another garage the sales rep offered £200 more and I stupidly accepted. I was sold a warranty for £699 which I later decided to cancel as there were so many exclusions when I read the policy details which I only received after signing up. It took me weeks to get my refund from them. I was lied to several times by staff members and the final straw was the day after I picked my car up my old car was on their website selling for £9500 ! I feel really upset that they do this to people. And so I would urge people to think again before using this company. If you allowed no star I would give that score.
