I did recently purchased a Mercedes-Benz E Class 2.0 E220d auto from Motor Match Bolton. however I have not yet taken delivery of the car. I viewed and test drove the car on14th February. Everything was fine with the car except for the add blue light being on. I was told this was because the ad blue tank just needed filling. I was happy with is and duly placed an order for the car and agreed to pick it up on 1st March. I subsequently had a call from the salesman to say it had a new MOT and everything was in order. So, as agreed , I paid the balance due, arrange insurance and made travel arrangements to pick it up on 1st March. On Friday 27th February I had a call from the salesman to say the car would not be ready as it needed a new ad blue tank. I was told that the part had been ordered but not yet been delivered and it would be a least a 5 hour job to fit it. On Monday 2nd of March I had a further call from the sales manager informing me that the required part was on back order and they could not tell me when it would be receive or when car would be ready. I was offer a £100 compensation for the delay. As of toady, 4th March, I have had not further updates. I am obviously not happy with the situation as I feel Motor Match Bolton had had plenty of time to diagnose and rectify the problem between when I order the car and I when I was due to pick it up. I am, however, grateful that they did discover the problem before delivery and are now endeavouring to rectify it. In view of the above I cannot give Motor Match Bolton either a totally negative ot totally positive rating. Likewise, until I have taken delivery of the car with the problem is fully rectified, I cannot say wether I would be prepared to recommend them.
I would recommend Motor Match Bolton to friends and family because it was a quick and simple process, was the best price I was given by a mile, sales team especially Alan was brilliant, from entering the sales officer to collecting the car was less than 24 hrs. Already recommended to family and friends at work.
Motor match Bolton the staff were very helpful specially James, from the start to end, the car have a little issue with the battery which I replaced, but the sales and the account team they were hopeful,and promised to refund me the money. Overall experience is excellent, hence I left 5 stars
