Go elsewhere. RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL MAN. VERY OVERPRICED CARS. Brought a car from him which was sold to me with a faulty exhaust and faulty suspension. Exhaust was hanging off & needed welding which still wasn't fixed after 2 attempts. The car went back in with the faults over 5 times over several days and weeks & was then told it still hadn't been fixed. This was before 30 days due to the car being with him. The car was not fit to be driven & shouldn't have been sold especially with suspension failure. I told him I formally rejected the car & wanted a refund due to a significant defect that still hadn't been fixed. Mike wells became very unpleasant & said he would not give a refund but would see me in court. I went through normal process of letters and emails with no replies from him. HE THEN PUT MY CAR UP FOR SALE EVEN THOUGH HE HADNT REFUNDED THE MONEY. LEGALLY THE CAR WAS STILL MINE. MIKE WELLS WANTED \xa34995.00 FROM ME & ANOTHER CUSTOMER TO DOUBLE HIS PROFITS. Disgusting behaviour
I've purchased cars from Mike Wells in Rushden before. I can only say that I found him to be honest and straight forward to deal with. You don't get the hard sell with him, just help and information when YOU want it. When the time comes around again for a new secondhand car, I'll be looking at his stock first. It's now 2024, thought I'd pop in and have a look at the available stock. There is a lot of well presented cars of all sizes and prices to suit your pockets. Mike was on hand to show you around and answer any questions you may have. No high pressure selling, just answers as and when you need them. The prices are very reasonable and you are welcome to stay and have a good look around. Well worth a visit.
