I would not recommend Mercedes Benz of Slough partly because it's quite a long distance from where we live. In addition, despite paying absolutely top price, with all the extras, the car came without the user's manual - I have requested this but to no avail. The car was dirty in that there was an accumulation of dead leaves under the bonnet. I was charged extra to have the car fully charged on collection but it wasn't. The performance on collection was, for us, somewhat over the top. Within two weeks the car has developed some very disturbing squeaks and groans from the brakes when starting, parking and moving off. I will have to contact my local dealer to see if this can be checked under warranty. The trade in for my 2022 CLA 220d, with 18600 miles, was low. £1000 less than I'd been offered by Hyundai. I thought that Mercedes did not negotiate on price but were generous with trade in. Not here. The next screen says that I am very happy with the dealer. This isn't really true. Not as good as I would expect from Mercedes.
My experience at Mercedes Benz of Slough could have been better because although the car is exactly what I wanted it was sent out without due diligence, the car was firstly advertised with lower mileage than it actually had, not an issue though, the car was collected with 2 services due which should of been done prior to collection resulting in 2 trips 120 miles to vertu Yeovil, 2 rear tyres badly cracked All sorted but should of been done, Biggest complaint is lack of contact returning calls etc even vertu Yeovil having issues getting response, lane assist not working no response to Yeovil calling, 10 days I chased reply All said and done the car is lovely but they had a week to prep this car before collection 60 mile round trip twice and now another 60 mile round trip twice coming up I’d struggle to recommend slough, used Vertu Yeovil many times a total different experience
