I was enquiring about a vehicle and Luke got back to me promptly with answers on various questions I had asked. This was followed up by a video of the vehicle together with phone call and email. Whilst in this instance the vehicle was t suitable for me I was delighted with the great customer service Luke provided.
Very disappointing experience with Mercedes-Benz Huddersfield. We’ve had a recurring fault with the window control buttons throughout the car since buying new in 2023. It has already been repaired 2–3 times by Mercedes (most recently in February). Despite this, the issue keeps returning. We raised it ahead of the appointment, but on the day were told it wouldn’t be fixed because it was “broken not faulty”, which makes no sense given the repeated history of the same issue. The MOT/service communication was also poor. After dropping the car off at 9.30am on a Friday, we were told after 4pm that it had passed and would be ready shortly, only to be called just before 5pm saying it had actually failed due to the tyres. With no technicians or mechanics around to discuss the issue, we were left with a rushed and stressful decision about whether to get it sorted ourselves (and bring it back for another MOT) or be without a car over the weekend. Both incurred additional disruption and cost, no courtesy car or support was offered by staff. To add to this, when we collected the car we found the front passenger seat had been moved so far back into an infants car seat and isofix base behind it, that it has dented the back of the seat. We are now concerned there may be damage to the car seat itself. For a premium brand, the overall customer service and care taken with our vehicle has been well below expectations.
