I would strongly advise caution when purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. We purchased a car for over \xa39,000 which developed serious faults within four months, including issues with the brakes and clutch. These are clearly safety-critical components and should not fail so soon after purchase. The vehicle was returned to the dealer for repair, however the same faults reoccurred shortly afterwards. When we raised the issue again, we had to rely on our rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to progress matters. Communication was slow and required chasing, and we were not provided with clear details of the work carried out during the initial repair. The dealership eventually agreed to take the car back, but applied a deduction of 40p per mile, which we feel was excessive. In addition, we were not refunded the \xa3600 paid for parking sensors that were installed in this vehicle at another garage. Since returning the vehicle, the VW golf has now been relisted for sale for \xa38275 which means they\u2019re making \xa31575 additional profit out of us! As a hard working family, this is a complete disgrace and daylight robbery! Overall, this was a stressful and disappointing experience involving a significant amount of time and effort to resolve. I would recommend that anyone considering buying from this dealership avoid at all costs, and if you do purchase ensures you fully understand your rights and keeps all communication in writing.
I could not have asked for a better experience when I purchased my car today. Paul went above and beyond when I found the car I wanted then wanted to drive away in it today. He even stayed late so I could go home to get the relevant paperwork. I would highly recommend using this company
