I wanted to buy a saab 93 off this guy. He wanted \xa3995 for it eventhough it's got plenty of rust and filler on one of the arches. Asked him if any lights were on the dash and he said no. I asked him if he could deliver the car which he said would cost \xa3160 as of the distance. Told him I was selling a convertible volvo with no issues no rust. He was interested and wanted photos. Asked me how much i was selling for. I said he could have it for \xa3500 eventhough worth \xa3950. I offered him \xa3200 of specially made seat covers for my volvo and \xa3200 of dash cam equipment i had paid to have built into the car. Plus \xa3700 cash as well making a total of \xa31600. He still wanted \xa3160 to deliver the car but I wouldn't give in. Eventually he said okay no problem. He then said the only issue with the saab it says water in the fuel, but fuel filter has been changed so will just be sensor. I told him that if water still in fuel it will destroy the engine if its been a problem for such a long time. He said its fine. So I asked him if he was driving the saab down to me and he said no it be delivered by recovery truck. No disrespect. But that set alarm bells off for me. If the saab had no warning lights on dash as he said, then why say oh only warning light is the sensor as of water in the fuel but that's just a sensor issue. Im so glad I didn't give him my convertible in the end and part with my money. I would of ended up with a dodgy motor and lost a reliable car as well as my cash. Only reason I wanted the saab to begin with was of the price and it being a four door. So after reading these reviews I can say I got off pretty lightly. Could of been a totally different story if I agreed to swap my car for the saab and pay the \xa3700 cash as well. Doesn't pay to buy a car off Ebay that's for sure.
