I purchased a Mercedes C220d from Mercedes-Benz Leeds in January and unfortunately the experience since then has been very disappointing. Within a short period of ownership the vehicle developed multiple issues. The car initially failed an MOT shortly after purchase due to safety-related faults, which was concerning given it had just been supplied by a main Mercedes-Benz dealership. Since then, further problems have arisen including a significant gearbox issue which is now being investigated by Mercedes-Benz Coventry. Other issues logged include seat belt retraction problems and several interior faults. While some earlier repairs were carried out, experiencing this number of problems so soon after purchase has significantly reduced my confidence in the vehicle. I am currently trying to resolve the matter with the dealership and Mercedes-Benz UK and hope a fair resolution can be reached. If the situation cannot be resolved directly, I will need to consider pursuing the matter through the appropriate consumer protection channels.
