I purchased a vehicle in March 2026 which later transpired had been registered as “permanently exported” approximately 12 months prior to sale. In addition, the VIN/chassis number did not correctly match the registration details held by DVLA, leaving me unable to register or legally use the vehicle. This situation resulted in months of unnecessary stress, inconvenience and uncertainty. I spent approximately three months carrying out the majority of the investigative work myself, repeatedly communicating with DVLA, HMRC and the dealership’s aftersales team in an attempt to establish the true status of the vehicle. Throughout this process, the dealership maintained that the issues were likely due to an administrative error, however no clear resolution was ever provided. HMRC were unable to complete the NOVA process without confirmation as to whether the vehicle had physically left the UK. Had the vehicle previously been exported and subsequently re-imported, this would have materially affected the value of the vehicle and could potentially have left me liable for 20% import VAT. I believe the dealership failed to carry out adequate due diligence checks prior to selling the vehicle. Had the vehicle been correctly taxed or SORN’d prior to sale, these issues surrounding the export status and DVLA records should reasonably have been identified before the vehicle was sold to a customer. Instead, I was sold a vehicle that could not be properly registered and was then left to resolve the matter myself with various government agencies over a prolonged period of time. Ultimately, due to the unresolved registration and VIN discrepancies, I had no option but to reject the vehicle and request a refund. Despite the seriousness of the matter and the significant inconvenience caused, little practical assistance or support was offered by the dealership, and I was left without a vehicle for an extended period through no fault of my own.

The team were incredible, they went the extra mile for me, we hit a couple of snags but they were rectified swiftly and professionally, I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a good quality used car. 5 stars and a special shout out to Daniel Keam who sold me the car, He was so professional and made me feel like we were important and that we mattered.
Website was easy to use, so selecting a vehicle with the right criteria was easy. When I had decided to go ahead with the sale, I was made aware of different finance arrangements, services and warranty options. On picking up the vehicle, it was well presented, and after a few minutes paperwork I was away.
