I collected a used car (YV19 BNL) on 20th April and noticed a piece of trim missing at handover. To their credit, they ordered the part in and booked me back in for fitting on 25th April. However, what should have been a simple one-hour job turned into a frustrating experience. After waiting over two hours, I was told the replacement trim had been lost somewhere in the workshop. Within days of collecting the car, it developed a whining noise along with clutch issues. I took it to an independent garage, who confirmed the vehicle required a new gearbox. I notified the FOW on 30th April that I would be returning the car and handed it back on 1st May. I was assured the car would be inspected and that a refund would be processed early the following week. From that point onwards, the excuses started. First they “couldn’t check the car” because another vehicle was stuck on a ramp, then they were short staffed, then apparently the car had “miraculously healed itself” and needed further diagnostics. Every time they promised to call me back, they didn’t. After dozens of phone calls chasing for updates, I am still waiting. The aftercare has been completely non-existent. What started as concerns over a missing trim piece quickly turned into serious mechanical faults and a very frustrating experience trying to get the issue resolved. Based on my experience, be prepared for delays, poor communication, and endless excuses
The sales staff Daisy and Becky were great. No heavy sales talk, gave us time on our own to check out the car. Buying process was easy. Happy with the car and the price. Only knocked a star off becase although they serviced the car before we collected it, on the drive home the oil overfilled warning came on. Ive since got the oil level adjusted. Maybe a small word to the workshop?
All Staff from first contact to the delivery of the car was beyond reproach. The sales team mainly Lana were very helpful and made sure that I was kept informed of the correct long distance process required to purchase the car. On delivery Robert was excellent, he gave me a call the night before and his hand over of the car was perfection. No stone left unturned. A very professional team of people. Well done! Yours aye! Second review I have left? For some reason. Everything was good, there are a couple things I think could be improved, from a customer point of view. When someone has booked in for a test drive, don't wait until the day to put fuel in. Bit disappointed that a full valet isn't carried out, second hand or not, as a customer, I want to feel that special treatment has been given to my new purchase. It may just be me being picky? but I bet it's not the first time a comment has been made. All in all, very happy. Thomas was very helpful to me.
