The initial contact with Molly gave me the tools to sort my options, followed by Becky do a great job with the sale. Slight issue with finance and some data incorrectlly entered but dealt with efficiently and drove away happy. Pre collection valeting could have been better but easily rectified with a little eye for detail.
Buying a car is the same experience as buying a house you want the best it can be for the money you pay. I was ready to buy them car I had seen the same day, but I couldn't because it was in a warehouse and would be a week whilst it was fully checked, serviced, MOT. Full valet ready to go, call next week be ready Tuesday, mentioned the parcel was missing and had it been MOT, no, said I can't come till Thurs so will it be ready, yes, went Thurs to view and buy, car had been washed on outside but not inside, door jams under the hood, boot jams filthy, carpets not cleaned good, paper covers covered in mud as was the door step, you could tell it had been in storage a while, knowing a bit a cars I checked everything was ok, then they decided to put wiper blades on wheel new wheel nuts, nice but you should do that in prep not as I'm trying to view it. After half a hour looking for the parcel shelf they couldn't find they decided to order a new one which I'm still waiting for. If your buying a car no matter the age or condition you would expect as show room condition as you could get. Spent 3 hours in total, lucky I bought it as there was doubt.
Got a car from FOW and it hadn't been cleaned properly. There were bits of biscuit in between the seats and grub around the gear stick and steering wheel. We'd asked them to clean it beforehand but even after we'd bought it, it still hadn't been done! They messed us around with timings for test drives, which meant we had to pay a lot in taxis to and from the dealership (we didn't have transport before purchasing the car), along with a lot of waiting around whilst at the dealership. We were promised a full tank of fuel on purchase, but this wasn't done either so we had to ring up afterwards to chase. Also a little strange that they don't offer drinks for customers as complimentary like other dealerships, but instead charge you for it. Car itself is good so far, but the service was lacking.
