After care is something you hope you never need to use. However I did recently need to use FoW’s after care and I was taken care of by a lovely lady called Liv. She listened carefully, was compassionate and took my problem seriously. She liaised with Kia to ensure the diagnostics test was carried out under warranty so we could establish the issue and arranged for them to carry out the necessary work. She handled the whole job from start to finish. Arranged collection of my car by trailer from my house (Paul was great too) and once we knew what the problem was, kept me informed and helped to arrange a courtesy car and get that to me due to the time it took Kia to schedule it in. Liv also tried to arrange delivery back to my house, but it worked out easier for me to go back to FoW and drop it off and collect my repaired car. Liv also followed up with an email a couple of days later to check I was happy etc. I hope you never need after care when buying a car from FoW but if you do, and you get Liv you’ll be fine as she will look after you throughout the process. Everyone was really helpful and friendly and the whole process was very smooth! The only small thing was that on the day I went to collect it, things felt rushed and I would have preferred to have everything explained a bit more, especially for someone who isn't as experienced with this. But overall a good experience and I'm very happy with my car!
After purchasing my car which ended up being 100 pound more than advertised and being told as long as I kept up the service record( it's a kia) the warranty would be valid unfortunately when I got home and checked the service book there were no entries,its first service was due May 2025 and a month after purchasing its due its 2nd service I wrote a review and was told I could contact customer services yet again I phoned and was told they didn't have a customer service and after a.while I was cut off I now regret trading in my car and purchasing this one
Sarah the sales manager runs her sales team like a well oiled machine, super helpful, friendly and caring no matter what your budget everyone is treated like VIPs and Katie from after sale is so caring and compassionate this is the second time I’ve used FOW and I came back because of Katie, used cars can have minor problems but Katie dealt with me so quick and was very reassuring.
The car that I purchased from FoW is amazing, no comments on this. Unfortunely the customer service and interaction that I receieved throughout this process was sub-par. I was repeatedly parred off to other sales representatives when I attended the office, the system used to reserve cars has signifcant errors, leading my reservations to not be registered properly, and other registered vehicles not showing to the sales reps, this lead to me being shown multiple cars that I was not able to purchase due tot his reservation not being displayed until after I displayed interest in purchase. There was not attempt from the sales representative to haggle in any way on the car price, part-ex or vehicle condition. Only 1 month warranty is provided by the garage on purchase of a new car. I was not provided with a sleeve to contain the paperwork for the new car, when I asked for one to be provided, I was told that the garage did not provide document sleeves, this is incredibly disappointing and frustrating given I have spent thousands of pounds with this buisness. I note that the sales representatives actually take notes of your personal character whilst purchasing vehicles with them. I know this as these comments were not removed from the car documents when they were sent to me. These notes included personally insulting phrases. Overall, the company has an excellent stock and supply of cars to choose from. However customer service and experience is lacking.
