Was genuinely interested in one of the camper vans and was prepared to travel down after reading mixed reviews because I really liked the vehicle. However, communication was very vague throughout. I was told I was “pre-approved” for finance but wasn’t given proper lender details or much information behind it, then there seemed to be pressure towards moving into a hard search before I’d even viewed or driven the van in person. As soon as I politely asked for confirmation of paperwork such as wet belt history, warranty details and conversion paperwork before making the journey, communication completely went quiet They didn’t reply at all. . Maybe just poor communication rather than anything else, but for a purchase of this size I expected a lot more reassurance, transparency and interest from the dealer. Was ready to buy, I’m not sure what the problem was.
I have just purchased a beautiful Land Rover Defender from Joe and his team. Excellent purchase experience where I felt welcome & valued. The car itself was a credit to the dealership, presented immaculately as per the photos on the Autotrader advert. Upon viewing nothing was too much trouble. I asked for some extras to be ordered before I agreed to collect the car. I wanted a Landrover Side Box & Ladder's. Amazingly, having assumed these would be placed in the boot for me to fit myself, upon collection I was surprised to find they were all fitted, ‘free of charge’. I don’t know of another garage that would pay that much attention to detail. The extras really transformed the look of the vehicle from A1 to A1++++++. What a great experience, if I could leave a 10 Star review I genuinely would. Keep up the good work & thanks for making the purchase from distance so easy \U0001f389
If I could leave 0 stars I would! We travelled from Liverpool to Cwmbran on Bank Holiday Monday to view what was advertised as a stunning, amazing, fantastic, immaculate Porsche Taycan 4S Cross Turismo. The vehicle was in a shocking state, with scratches and scuffs everywhere (both inside and out), and the alloys looked like they’d been introduced to every kerb in South Wales. We were told not to worry about a big gouge to one of the tyre sidewalls as it was only cosmetic. The front valance was heavily damaged too. This is meant to get damaged though apparently. The interior of the vehicle had an awful smell about it, and no attempt had been made to prepare it for viewing. The vehicle had no tax, no MOT, and there were no trade plates available. We were told we could test drive it, but only if we were willing to risk potential fines and points on our licence. We obviously declined. When we asked basic questions about the vehicle, they couldn’t provide clear answers, and there was minimal documentation available to view. The overall setup was just as bad. There wasn’t anywhere for a much needed sit down to recover from the shock of what we were presented with, and there wasn’t ever an offer of a cup of tea or coffee. A total waste of time and money. If you value your time, money, and sanity, I strongly suggest you steer well clear of these cowboys. Preferably in a vehicle which is road legal!
I purchased a Ford Transit from Formula Prestige Motors today . From 1st seeing it a couple of days ago to driving it home today the service was very professional, easy and friendly and they even installed a new wet belt before selling it. I would highly reccomend them. The van was also in perfect condition for a 6 year old van as seen in the photos
