I'd recommend FJ Chalke Van Centre because all of the staff are super friendly and welcoming. It doesn’t feel like you have walked into your typical sales room, it’s much more personal and doesn’t feel like any sales are forced. Jordan who I dealt with was fantastic, I really have nothing negative to say about the whole experience.
I have been buying vans for 18 years now, what a nightmare experience! Abigail was very good and dealt with everything, no problems there. Came down from Wimborne to collect the new van, stood in the showroom for 20 minutes with everyone walking past me, the men on the front desk / tables just ignored me, they didn't even acknowledge me or ask me if anybody was dealing with me. I eventually went to them an asked if Abi was available. Trying to get someone to call me back when Abi was off was terrible, 4 x i called on the same day with a promise that someone would call me back, nobody did. On collection of the vehicle before i even drove it away. i had noticed that the headlight was damaged and letting in mist, fogging the glass up. I was told that it wasn't covered under the warranty. i had not even taken it away. There was no hand over other than giving me the keys, so we did not go around the vehicle together to look at the condition, no actual hand over to go through the basic vehicle working inside the cabin. i had to argue with the technician that looked at the headlight that i would not take the vehicle until the head light was sorted before i took the vehicle on. I now have to drive the vehicle all the way back to Wincanton and back to Wimborne to get the head light sorted and pick up the seat covers, time, fuel and inconvenience for the van to be off the road. no level of compensation offered for the entire inconvenience and bad service. Most companies would offer free seat covers, car mats etc: things that don't cost the company a great deal of money but is a level of good will gesture. i was going to buy another vehicle, a Maxus T60 from you after testing driving with Abi, but since i have re-looked at the overall experience, i have decided to go elsewhere. Abi did all she could but as a new customer and potential on going customer, i feel like i was not valued. Overall terrible, would not use you again, would not recommend you as a good garage to buy from, you have obviously grown and forgot to value your customers,
