In April I took my MGZSEV to Evans Halshaw (Grimsby) and a lady called Stacey, responsible for servicing and warranty bookings dealt with me. The offside rear window regulator had seemingly failed. Photographs were taken for a warranty claim. After some weeks MG UK Customer Care claimed not to have received anything and hence no authority had been given to proceed. On May 5th the window was repaired, under warranty thanks to Stacey. Well done and it's still working🙂.
Bought 2 cars from here, nothing but trouble with them both. One needed a new engine and I ended up rejecting the car. Other one has been into the workshop several times and needs to go in AGAIN. Tricky when we are working full time. Each time car goes back the communication is practically non existent and we need to borrow a car to get to work. Shambles. Will never deal with them again.
We went to Evans Halshaw Edinburgh. Kelvin and his manager were really good. We bought 8 cars via Evans Halshaw years ago, so we suggested our son buy from them too. We now always pay for our cars to be re-serviced as soon as we take ownership, so we arranged for this car to be serviced. And it was the first time our mechanic actually said had been recently serviced. I genuinely would consider buying a car from this company again.
Great service from start to finish. Michael on service reception was brilliant from the offset as I arrived earlier than my allotted time of 8am. Michael arranged for my car to be taken straight away to the service bay as a car technician was there early. I also like that you can see on the television screen in the waiting area how your car service is progressing and the video supplied showing what they have checked on the car. The whole experience was great and the service didn't take long either..
