I've just purchased a MG HS 25 Reg and traded in my old workhorse Ford BMax 13 Reg. Darren Childs was the sale representative, I found him very approachable with a friendly professional manner. He made the experience very easy, taking me through the stages of buying and trading in my car. He had full knowledge of the vehicle I was buying and answered all my questions. I left the showroom a very happy customer.
Having just purchased a car from BYD Chesterfield I can confirm a fabulous experience. Buying a car usually really causes me stress and anxiety however visiting the BYD Chesterfield garage I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth the process was. Andrew made sure we were given all the relevant information when we test drove the car and he answered all the questions we had. The garage is lovely and new and we were even provided with a drink. On collection of my vehicle again Andrew made sure all the paperwork was completed, he went through everything in the car with us before we left and again answered any questions we had. If you are looking for a new or used vehicle I can highly recommend BYD Chesterfield. Thank you.
Overall, I have been extremely disappointed with my experience of Evans Halshaw’s aftersales and warranty service. Over the course of more than five weeks, I experienced repeated communication failures, inconsistent information, delays, and significant difficulty contacting the service department. I was repeatedly given assurances regarding timelines and parts availability which later changed, and I often felt I had to chase updates myself rather than receiving proactive communication. The overall experience felt disorganised and has significantly impacted my confidence in the service and warranty support provided. I would like to recognise Elaine, who was the only member of staff who consistently took ownership of the situation, kept me updated, and ensured progress was made. As things currently stand, this experience has caused me to lose confidence in the warranty package and aftersales support overall.
