I bought a ford focus 2015 1 litre eco boost from this garage. In the first day itself the bonnet open notification lit in my dashboard and they have done something and it went off. Believing the Garstang motors I drove the car back home. After few weeks of purchase the TPMS notification popped up in the dashboard. The Elite motors sent me the tyre pressure sensor and advised me to go and fit it in mr tyre limited . The people in that garage told me this is not the correct sensor and I called the person in elite motors and informed him. He asked me to give the phone to the technician working on my cars tpms and advised him to fit the wrong tyre pressure sensor which he sent me. The technician told me that he has done according to what the person in elite motors told him to do and also told me that it is not the correct one and the tyre pressure sensor will light again maybe after 500 or 5000miles ( I forgot the exact miles) . The technician was correct as the tyre sensor showed up again. After a few weeks the bonnet sensor lit up and I called the elite people again and they told me the warranty has expired. Then after few weeks the engine warning lights lit up , catalytic converter issues , etc in 6 months of the purchase. And at last the flywheel and clutch kit issues came up and the car was not drivable. The cost of repair was \xa31278 and I emailed Elite motors if they can do something and they haven’t replied to my email.Even if they can’t do anything they could have replied me back. After that I spoke with the finance company and they advised me to have a vehicle inspection. I haven’t driven the car for almost 4 months because of chasing the finance company and the vehicle inspection team. I was still paying the emi for the car which was not drivable. The vehicle inspection engineer came and they checked and the report said that they need to have further checks and they need a detailed inspection in their garage which is way more expensive than the visual and fault code inspections they have done first. I did not want to move forward with that because I almost spent \xa32000-\xa32500 pound in one year as repair cost for this car.
My heartfelt Thanks to Nigel and the team at Elite Motors Garstang, not only did they sell me an absolutle mint condition 69 plate kuga st line with less than 21.5k miles on the clock they went above and beyond and picked me up from the train station after i had travelled up to collect the car . I would highly reccomend you to anyone looking for a quality second hand car with 5 star customer service!! Thank you for making it such a pleasurable experience. I hope our paths cross again in the future Kieran

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. We recently bought a transit custom from Elite Motors of Garstang Ltd and cant fault them one bit. They say you buy off people you like and its hard not to like these guys. Carl , the sales manager is great - all the staff are. We had a small issue that was sorted straight away no quibbles at all. Its been a pleasureable buying experience from start to finish so therefore i would recommend anyone visit Elite for their next vehicle purchase. Nice van , great price , happy customer !
I put a deposit down on a car, travelled 250 miles to view, test drive + collect. The car had a number of issues not mentioned such as wheel alignment being horrifically bad, intake elbow perished, and an odd tire when I was promised 4 matching ones. The alignment is even a safety thing, as with wheels that wonky the grip and handling was appalling. I brought all these up with them, and attempted to negotiate a very reasonable price \xa3100 off to contribute to the costs of getting the alignment and intake elbow fixed, and was immediately shut down. They knew they had me bent over a barrel because I’d travelled to the other side of the country for the car. But the car should never have been on the forecourt with alignment that bad, and the intake elbow could have caused a breakdown in the first few hundred miles leading to a warranty claim. I emailed them afterwards about this, trying to be as constructive as possible, and have not had a reply, which is disappointing. The car, now I have sorted it, is great, and overall a good deal still. But it should never have been sold in the condition it was in, and for the sake of \xa3100 for a happy customer, I’m very surprised they didn’t even entertain my negotiation. They also collected me from the train station which was nice, but the car they collected me in was in limp home mode- says a lot about a garage when their own cars aren’t properly cared for. Additionally, the tires they put on the car, as well as being odd, were very budget tires. On a generic city car, no biggie, but on a sporty enthusiasts car for the sake of \xa330 a corner, some half decent rubber would have made a big difference. Sell em cheap, stack em high. Typical used car sales. You might get a great car for a good price, but what condition it’s in, who knows Response to reply: Thanks for taking time to reply. To respond, you should have replied to my email highlighting these issues. If you had have replied to that, and I felt as though the response was reasonable, I wouldn’t have felt the need to write a review to help inform others. I pointed out the intake hose, AND the need for a full alignment (to which you said the steering wheel just needed straightening- which is completely untrue. The left wheel was massively toeing out and the right wheel toeing in on alignment), and brought this up before handing over any money. These are faults that weren’t declared online or in photos or videos sent by you, so it wasn’t as described. I was happy with the price if the car was in the advertised condition. I said I was happy to get these done as I’d come all the way across the country for the car and couldn’t come back at a later date, which would have cost me more money than getting the car fixed in train fare and petrol costs. In return for you not having to fix these yourself, \xa3100 off the price was extremely reasonable (and less than it would have cost at a Suzuki service centre). Since I’m here, I’ll also add that aside from the odd tyre, the quality of the wheel refurbishment is really poor. I should have picked up on this at the time and in my email but unfortunately forgot. Photos included below for reference. I always prefer to raise problems and feedback privately first, to give businesses a chance to act on feedback and put things right. I gave you the chance to reply privately, but since you did not reply, I feel future customers should be able to make any buying decision with all information possible. I feel my review is completely honest and fair.
Just picked up a 2014 Skoda Citigo today and couldn’t be happier! The service from Carl on the day I was showed the car was fantastic - everyone there has been so friendly. They’re a car buyers dream! The windscreen had the smallest imperfection and they had already booked it in for a whole new windscreen. Top tier.
