Great new location on Skipton Road. Sold my car this morning to David. He is very professional, very honest and offered me a very fair price. He is also very helpful in general and gave me some suggested advice on the replacement car I bought (sadly elsewhere) which I am having trouble with. Would highly recommend him and Ilkley Motor Company.

From the first text inquiry to delivering the vehicle David went out of his way to ensure a smooth purchase Texted Saturday afternoon to see if it was possible to see a car Sunday with a view to purchase if all was ok. David obliged even though Sunday was not a trading day. Viewed the vehicle it was topped up with fuel and then I was sent out on an unaccompanied test Drive. Agreed to purchase subject to a couple of issues. For collection in three days. David took Care of everything including agreeing to deliver to the car to me in Leeds at the last minute. A couple of issues with bulbs & service light was resolved as soon as was brought to his attention and he even gave me a tyre puncture repair kit for peace of mind as the vehicle doesn't come with a spare. Kind , courteous and professional A pleasure to deal with. Recommended

Excellent service. As can happen with purchasing vehicles some things are unforeseen and things went slightly awry. They couldn’t have been more helpful and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended! Brilliant service.

David and his team were so helpful and reassuring. It's many years since I bought a car, we've had lease cars through work, and we were lucky to find what seemed like an ideal car at Ilkley Motor Company, a few minutes walk from where we live. We're grateful to David and Russell who were quick to deal with a (very) minor problem with the car after we'd driven away, and for giving us a real sense of security with their excellent service.

Russell went the extra mile (in fact several!) to make it easy for me to view, drive, buy, and take possession of a modestly priced BMW with 100,000 miles on the clock. So I figure he doesn't just make the extra effort for the big deals! He's just a naturally helpful & obliging guy who wants his customers to be happy. A pleasure doing business Russell!

I bought a BMW 4series , basically i got scammed , the russell guy sold me the car , told me that the car is in perfect condition nothing wrong with it , we done the paper works online , he dropped the car for me , told me that if anything wrong with the car just give a call, As i have 3months warranty , after only two days a message come up on the screen shows the engine overfilled oil , I called Russell I explained and even the gear box doesn’t feel good, he said to take the to a garage near you for a health chek , i did , i got the diagnostic ,Turned out the gear box was not ine the good jumping , the engine was overfilled oil , the steering wheel had a problem cost around 1000\xa3 only the steering wheel, wich i was feeling the steering wheel is not stable over 40mph , too many other fault codes also the shock absorbers needed to be change , I sent the diagnostic and health chek to Russell , he refused everything was wrong with the car , i even accused to overfill the engine oil and i still have the message when he said to me , i felt exactly different person compared to when i was buying the car , and even the car was due service in a week time wich i told tha car don’t need service until next 5months depending on mileage, anyway he denied anything wrong with the car and refused to fix anything of the problems , i was lucky I bought the car through a finance company, I contacted the finance company from first week , explained everything to them , after that they send their inspector out , they chacked tha car and diagnosed all the faults, and after a long process the finance company decided to return the faulty car and I got my all deposit back , Never recommend this garage keep your money at home use public transportation better , i was lucky my finance company they got my money back, otherwise i was losing around 12000\xa3 . Worst experience ever in my life to buy anything, I have evidence for what ever I say .

Agree with previous reviews! David is very genuine and provides honest advice and great service. Could not of asked for more and felt reassured I had invested in the right car and will go back to get it serviced when due. Its very unique to find a dealer that cares about the cars they sell and customers. Would highly recommend!!

Bought a Golf from Ilkley Motor Company a few weeks ago and couldn’t be happier with my decision. David and Russell could not have been more helpful. They were happy for me to test drive the car for as long as I needed and they weren’t at all pushy. They were more than happy to help with any questions I had on the day, and questions I had on how to operate the entertainment system after I’d got home. I would absolutely recommend. Plus, David makes a fantastic cup of tea! Thanks again
