I had an excellent experience purchasing my car from this dealership. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful without being pushy. They took the time to answer all my questions, explain my options clearly, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free, would definitely recommend

Dalkieth Ford is great place to find the car of choice , the guys there are so helpful and knowledgeable. Many cars to choose and suit your budget. From the sales team , the guys in the workshop and the Ladies at reception. Look them up and take a visit , they won't disappoint.
Just bought my second used Ford from Dalkieth. With all my questions i was probably not the easiest customer as i was buying a EV for the first time. I got first class treatment from start to finish from Tony Whelan, and I am absolutely delighted with my nearly new Ford Explorer. Will definitely be back.
Avoid this dealership and service centre at all costs. I purchased my Ford Kuga from this Ford-approved dealership in good faith and trusted their standards, workmanship, and vehicle health checks. Unfortunately, my entire experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. I booked my Ford Kuga into their Dalkeith service centre on 16th April due to brake concerns. I paid for a rear caliper replacement and was later told the repair had been completed successfully and to the highest standard. However, immediately after the vehicle was returned to me, the handbrake felt dangerously loose and abnormal. After only a very short drive from Dalkeith to Ormiston and back, my rear brakes overheated so badly that the brake disc was glowing red and heavy smoke was pouring from the back of the vehicle. I was 15 weeks pregnant at the time and had my 2-year-old child in the car. The vehicle had to be recovered back to the dealership the very next day, where I was later informed the technician had failed to correctly adjust the handbrake, causing the brakes to remain engaged while driving. What concerns me most is the complete lack of accountability and customer care shown afterwards. Instead of taking responsibility, I felt spoken down to, dismissed, and made to feel as though my concerns were being minimised. I still have not received a genuine apology for the situation. I also questioned how this issue passed “quality control” when the handbrake fault was noticeable immediately after the car was returned to me. Even the driver who delivered and parked the vehicle would reasonably have noticed how loose the handbrake felt. Yet nothing was said to myself. and when I eventually had a phone call from the Aftersales Manager they tried to pin the blame on the age of the car or the mileage which both have nothing to do with this situation as it was a brand new out the box caliper that had just been fitted. again trying to avoid taking responsibility for their negligence. Sadly, this is not the first workmanship issue I have experienced with this dealership either. I previously had problems with an exhaust they fitted incorrectly, despite repeatedly being reassured everything had been thoroughly checked. A second opinion from another garage later confirmed it had in fact been fitted incorrectly. I also feel people should know about the treatment my partner experienced while employed there. Following my complaint, he was told that if he did not withdraw MY complaint his wages would be affected. As a family with children and bills to pay, he felt pressured into withdrawing my complaint at the time because we could not risk losing income. Afterwards, his treatment at work became increasingly worse, including being sworn at, spoken down to which even before this situation was a daily occurrence by the management at dalkeith, and he was made uncomfortable in the workplace until he eventually resigned for the sake of his own mental health. Anybody considering working for this company should seriously think twice. At this stage, I no longer have any trust or confidence in this dealership, their workmanship, or the warranty they sell alongside vehicles. I will now only use trusted local garages for repairs moving forward. I would strongly advise anybody considering purchasing a used vehicle or using the service department here to think very carefully before doing so.
Dealt with Noel (the bald one, sorry Noel haha) Great service, no pushy sales people and it’s a nice friendly atmosphere. Noel was informative and quick with communication. I would definitely recommend Dalkeith Ford Centre if you are looking for a good, honest, quality service Very happy with my new car
