I bought a van from Anthony and he was very helpful after I had a fairly major issue when driving home with the vehicle.The vehicle had to get fixed and it turned out that the job was bigger than we initially thought. That's just the way it goes. But he still helped out and was very much appreciated.
AVOID AVOID AVOID - bought a van on the 13th September 2025 from Anthony paid \xa35280 which we considered a good deal. Upon driving the van away the van lost power and the engine management light came on. We contacted Anthony for a refund - he refused and said we could drive the van to his garage in Manchester - we live in halifax. Took the van and was advised it was a sensor on the exhaust once fixed we picked the van up and it still had no power behind it. Took it to an independent garage local to us and they found several faults, air leaks, bolts missing but the worst was a power steering leak which is a major defect and WOULD have been detected at the alleged MOT that was done on the 4th September. The garage we took it to was confident that it didn't look like anything had been changed nor tgat it didnt have the defect at the time of the MOT due to the milage the MOT stated and the mileage on the van. Anthony is now ignoring all communication despite being sent the report from the garage and our request for a full refund or him to pay for the fix so now we will battle it out in court. DON'T BUY FROM HERE - no regard for the safety of my partner or other motorists. This is a reply to Anthonys reply. The review is 100% accurate and based on my experience. The image also shows the van advertised for \xa34799 plus VAT we paid cash for the van to save us money on VAT so yes the receipt for VAT purposes is less. Not sure of any garage that would advertise a van for the amount shown plus VAT and then accept \xa33000 with VAT. The faults found within the van was found by an independent garage and the quote was provided 3 days after you requested it which you declined to pay. Your garage failed to detect the issues the independent garage found which are in the original review so trust has been lost. The van isnt satisfactory or fit for purpose and we have been advised it is unsafe to drive and you have still refused a refund. Reply to the owners response - irrespective of the amount the van sold isnt fit for purpose, has a major defect, air leaks and bolts missing and passed its MOT done on the 4th September. Your garage was given an opportunity to rectify the loss of power the van had but failed and the request for a refund has been rejected so we'll settle this in court
Bought a van recently from Anthony at CVS. Excellent service and communication. Would definitely use again and highly recommend. Very accommodating when booking the appointment, even when I had to cancel and rearrange at late notice. All sorted same day - excellent service again.
