I bought my Polo as an "Approved Used" vehicle from this Crewe dealer, expecting a high standard of safety. However, only 18 months later, it failed its MOT with major safety defects. All four tyres were so badly damaged that the internal cords were showing, and the track rod end ball joints had excessively perished rubber. It is shocking that an "Approved" car could deteriorate to such a dangerous state so quickly. I had to pay over \xa31,060 to make the car road-legal again. The brand's low Trustpilot rating (1.4 stars) really makes sense now. Deeply disappointed with the lack of quality control. Avoid if you expect a truly "approved" inspection.
Robert Purcell: Outstanding communication, attitude and service. Put us to ease when we needed a replacement car and all the help during a technical glitch with our car. Very helpful and made the process extremely easy. Overall, very kind and willing staff. Recommend this showroom absolutely for any help with Volkswagen!
Good recall repair by the place, cleaned the car inside and out which was nice. However perhaps a little too well as \xa33 was taken from my car. I'm not bothered about the money but that shouldn't be happening from a reputable place. I've called and made them aware. Don't want anyone getting fired for stealing!
Purchased new golf Estate 2 years ago. Not been the best car. (Faults & breakdowns.) Most recently engine misfire, which AA diagnosed. Taken to this garage but they can't look at it for a week as their so busy!!!! Meanwhile I'm stranded. They won't even buy the car off me for stock ( I'm fed up with it) now walking up to the BMW garage or most likely Mazda /Toyota/Honda Its the vw product and this one in particular, that's at fault. Recently retired and spent my money on this golf with a view to keeping the car for a long time. The service department have tried to help me out and are understanding but so frustrated with it all. Have had VW's as company cars for 20 years and never had any problems with any of them apart from routine maintenance. The modern VW's are no where as good as the older ones.
So my dad went for a quote for a little bit of damage to wing mirror, talk about trying to rob an old man, service advisor looked at it, quoted him \xa3715.73 to fix it, I told him not to go back, bought the part for \xa312 98 and fixed in 2 mins, daylight robbery and not trust worthy
