I'd recommend Crewe Audi to a friend because the sales staff are helpful friendly easy to deal with professional and knowledgeable but with a caveat. Pity the experience was spoiled by someone in admin stating that posted Retention Certificate was required before release of v5 bond monies irrespective of the fact that you had by then the original V5 for the traded in vehicle (and had already been provided with DVLA’s emailed copy) thereby making the retention certificate redundant. Thankfully resolved in 24 hours and monies now refunded. Thanks particularly to Ella Richards. Shame on Admin. If the original Retention Certificate is a requirement then the customer should be advised of this BEFORE entering into the V5 bond agreement and not post agreement. The above score would in all probability have been 10 had Admin not spoiled the experience leaving a somewhat sour taste in the mouth.
I had a great experience when purchasing a new Audi RS3. My purchase was handled by Alice Symons, and due to the specification and options I wanted, it was a factory order. Alice quoted the car quickly, and gave what I feel was a good quote. The car was estimated to be a 4 to 5 month wait, but was delivered after 3 months, which was quicker than either of us expected, and perhaps some Audi themselves need to work on so that the dealerships are better informed. Handover of the car was slick, with all the paperwork done efficiently, the car was in a separate room with a sheet over it, which allowed for that social media type reveal moment (not something I’m into). Alice then took the time to explain the vehicle functions, how the media system works, helped connect my mobile phone etc. Just before leaving the sales manager (apologies, I’ve forgotten his name) came and said hello and gave me a bottle of champagne. Nice one, thank you. If there was something I’d criticise, I’ve received a number of automated/system generated emails along with the ones Alice has sent e.g. I’ve had one saying to prepare for my new car and handover, but I’ve already got it. I would say any automated emails/system generated things should be there to prompt the sales team, not do it for them. Keep the human touch and don’t send customers things that aren’t actually needed or accurate. Anyway, shout out to Alice and Crewe Audi.
