I bought a new car last Friday after test driving a demonstrator. Unfortunately the car I bought turned out to have EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE PASSENGER SEATS. Totally different to the demonstrator. So bad my wife cannot sit on it! I contacted the dealership but they wouldn’t help. All they would do was offer a part-exchange at a loss to me of £10,000. UPDATE They replied to my review this morning. Although nothing has changed I have managed to find an after market solution to my problem. I have found a cushion set which seems to work. I cannot emphasise enough, though, that to avoid this problem a buyer should insist on checking the actual car one is buying because. from my experience, it is highly unlikely to match the demonstrator. As a broker I deal with main dealers literally all over the UK. As with life generally, you experience a range of attitudes and behaviours. What a dream in comparison to another company I had originally used to purchase a vehicle from which I had to reject, Claire at the Wigan branch made the process stress free from start to finish and the after sales service was second to none after a small fault appeared, this was dealt with swiftly and efficiently to a timeline that fitted around myself. John Willis was the member of staff who dealt with my ordering and buying of a brand new van. From the start there was no pressure or sales pushing. Just a very good service and explanation of the vehicle, the process, the procurement, the sale of, and everything that happens. I received regular updates of the situation and time scales with delivery etc once my van had been ordered. I also had courtesy follow ups once I'd received my vehicle. The guy who delivered my van to my door (I have forgotten his name sorry) was also brilliant and explained everything to me regarding the actual vehicle and also the paperwork etc. I received my van in perfect condition and good to go. I think they are all very professional and knowledgeable at The Chorley Group Nissan in Chorley, and John was excellent. Thank you.
