Do not buy a vehicle from this company, under any circumstances, absolutely awful experience from start to finish. I bought a car from them early Feb 26, 16 days later the engine management light came on, this fault was reported to them, they said they would come out and look, they didn't, 23 days after that the car was undriveable, so they collected it. 15 days after that they dropped a so called courtesy car off, 15 days after that, that broke down! I was promised a refund. It's been over 12 weeks now, still no refund! Totally shocking customer service.
am writting to raise a complain on the vechicle i bought toyota rava 4 car shows on the mot that it failed the MOT with faults in the suspension and alex mentioned that a full service was done before i collected the car but nothing to prove that been calling sending emails but no response i checked the suspension all suspension bushes need replacement.service was not done but no one is available to deal with the issue try to contact the garage where the MOT WASDONE but all in vain and if i dont get a response after sending this message i will have no option to escalate my complaint to DVsa/ the garage issued a certificate to a car with a faulty suspension
Where do I start with this! But her go's, my daughter bought a mini from this organisation within 3 days the the dash was lighting up like a charismas tree after numerous calls texts emails seem like this business didn't exist, 6 days later got a reply great service!! We will come out tomorrow four/ five days later we come tomorrow great not a 9 pm it wasn't , will pick it up tomorrow to repair 3 days later took it away they have now had it for six weeks ,after 3 weeks we get a loan car two days later oil light open the bonnet the stay was floating around the enging bay not attached to any thing wires hanging uncliped acsses covers hanging and 1ltr of oil later I do wonder about the safety of this car, the garage now says they have never sold us a mini it was a private sale. Another little gem they have come up with, loan car now broken down, this business as great presentation unfortunately that's as far as it go's customer services is none existent as is any contact after sale you will be ok if nothing goes bad , hard to put into words how bad my daughter as been treated buy this business
UPDATE: UNBELIEVABLE!!! Courtesy car they have gave me that is for sale on their website has packed up major clutch and gear box fault. Can you believe they have it on their website for sale!!!!!!!! This garage buy problem cars and sell them absolutey outrageous behaviour never known anything like this. DO NOT ENTERTAIN THIS GARAGE!!!! UPDATE: THIS DEALERSHIP GETS WORSE...Lying to multiple people to get out the mess they are in. They have Had my faulty car for over 6 weeks now and I STILL do not have any idea what was wrong with it, (They have told me it is fixed but I have not seen my car or seen any documentation to say it has been fixed...Which it most likely hasnt) They Ignore my calls and messages and are telling me the sale was a private sale which is laughable!! Problem cars, dishonest and the worst after sales I have EVER dealt with. AVOID. AVOID THIS CAR GARAGE AT ALL COSTS! Shocking after sales - false Promises, Unreliable and provide no updates. STILL have my car I purchased from them that after 1 month went faulty. NO idea where my car is and what is wrong with it and when or IF I am getting It back
Found a VW Scirocco via Caru website. Had planned to take two trains to view it in the hope of taking it away the same day. During a phone call I was told it was a Cat N vehicle with a repaired bump to one of the wings. Decided to pay for an online background check on the car where I found it was in fact a Cat S. The photos that the online check provided showed very substantial damage to both front wings, bumper and all along one of the sides. When I queried this with the garage I was told 'Oh, you must have spoken to one of my colleagues and they made a mistake'. BE CAREFUL - DO YOUR CHECKS!!! UPDATE Please do share audio clips and WhatsApp messages.

Caru automotive are absolutely awful to deal with. I purchased a 2008 cl500 from them recently and the car has developed fault after fault after fault after buying it. They described the car as mechanically perfect. They have refused to pay for repairs (that have been deemed necessary by one of the the South East's best mercedes specialists). They have offered to repair it themselves but have said they will not be performing the same work as suggested by my specialist. To ensure that I could get the repairs done to an acceptable standard I offered to cover 50 percent of the repair costs. They have agreed to this but keep finding spurious reasons to delay payment. I have already had to pay for a full wheel alignment as the juddering badly after delivery. Given how much was wrong with the car, any sensible person would not entrust caru automotive to undertake or arrange any repair work. I have therefore requested a refund within the 30 day period which they are doing their best to frustrate. My advice is if you want to buy from them, go in with your eyes open and expect to budget double what you paid for repairs as they will not be helping you based on my experience. I am a serial buyer of second had cars and caru automotive are the worst dealership I've experienced. Update 8/3/26: Caru Automotive eventually agreed to pay 50 percent of the repair costs after a huge amount of back and forth. This has been paid to me. Probably unsurprisingly after this the car continued to develop faults (safety system failure light on continuously and failure to start most mornings). Caru automotive provided me with a 3 month warranty. They initially agreed to cover the cost of repairs but have since disappeared and have not returned any calls / emails / messages. As a result I have put an application to the small claims court to recover costs.
