Caru automotive are absolutely awful to deal with. I purchased a 2008 cl500 from them recently and the car has developed fault after fault after fault after buying it. They described the car as mechanically perfect. They have refused to pay for repairs (that have been deemed necessary by one of the the South East's best mercedes specialists). They have offered to repair it themselves but have said they will not be performing the same work as suggested by my specialist. To ensure that I could get the repairs done to an acceptable standard I offered to cover 50 percent of the repair costs. They have agreed to this but keep finding spurious reasons to delay payment. I have already had to pay for a full wheel alignment as the juddering badly after delivery. Given how much was wrong with the car, any sensible person would not entrust caru automotive to undertake or arrange any repair work. I have therefore requested a refund within the 30 day period which they are doing their best to frustrate. My advice is if you want to buy from them, go in with your eyes open and expect to budget double what you paid for repairs as they will not be helping you based on my experience. I am a serial buyer of second had cars and caru automotive are the worst dealership I've experienced.
