I took delivery of a Polestar 2 a week ago, trying to charge the car it won’t charge beyond 40-50 % and has propulsion and engine faults. I’m told repairs can’t be done until 30th June! The car has been sat there unable to drive for 5 days now. Trying to get a resolution to this is going nowhere at the moment, car care problems department don’t pick up as they say they are busy. I’ve got no choice now to proceed with a refund. Please help me find a solution Carsa. At the moment a 1 star review is more than generous. Also never got my £39 back for moving the car. Overall I'm pleased with the car but the buying experience on the day of my (booked) test drive and the subsequent purchase wasn't great. The whole process took over 3.5 hours with long gaps between the various admin stages. Also, the coffee machine was broken, the water station had no disposable cups and the gents toilet had definitely seen better days. I got the distinct impression this particular store was being run on a shoestring.
Sales assistant Courtney was patient and took the time to answer all our queries. The whole process was relaxed and unpressured. The car we had booked to test drive was well prepared and as advertised. I would have appreciated more information such as service book stamps and battery health certificate ahead of the appointment. Overall this transaction with Carsa was a positive experience.
Jordan at Towcester was helpful, thorough and polite throughout from the test drive to the purchase of our new car. On getting the car home I noticed the locking wheel nut was missing and he has been quick to respond to try and solve the issue with prompt responses to my emails. I now wait to receive the missing part from the after sales team.
I had a smooth, hassle-free experience buying a car from Carsa Portsmouth. Andreea was fantastic—she handled everything and made sure I got a great deal. Many thanks to the whole team for their excellent service. I had previously sold a car to Carsa at a different branch a few months ago. That experience wasn’t as efficient, as what was meant to be a 45-minute appointment took several hours to complete all the checks. However, I was able to work online comfortably in their reception area without interruption. If it hadn’t been for the excellent buying experience this time, I wouldn’t have rated them five stars now.
