The hand over from Kriss the totally uninterested care less salesman of DU23XYX Hyundai Tuson was 50 mins late for our appointment and not even an apology. He and his manager where rude arrogant and totally uninterested. Didn't even walk us out to the car. Totally Disgraceful
If you see reviews on here saying DO NOT BUY FROM CARSA then please take time to read them and believe them! Yesterday 27/3/26 my self my partner and our 3 month baby visited Carsa at Mountsorrel excited to view and test drive the car we had reserved online for a fee of £39, when parked up we entered the showroom everyone sat at their desks and not a hello or welcome in sight after about 5 minutes of wondering who we needed to speak to a young sales women approached us to take our details after another couple of minutes i was handed 2 sets of keys and told the car should be parked "over there in the corner somewhere" go and have a look around and ill come out and see how you're getting on, after venturing outside to try and find the car we found it parked right in the corner so close to another vehicle you could hardly open the drivers side door to view inside, as we looked around the car the first thing we both noticed was the rear passenger door all scrapped, scuffed and dinted which wasn't a great start, the boot had been scuffed to and several other minor stone chips, once we opened the car up it was hard to see where they can claim on their website that all cars are fully valeted and washed prior to you going to view it, my 2 year old could of done a better job. after a walk around the vehicle i went back inside and asked if it was ok to test drive it, 10 mins later after giving my details and leaving my licence with them i was handed the keys back and trade plates put in the car i was told to go do a lap of the village and come back, what ever happened to sales folk showing you around the car and how it all works? after switching the ignition on and a 15 mile range left in the tank i was unsure as if i was even going to make this lap. having come back and the car driving nicely we sat down to discuss figures, cash buyers so we knew we were never going to get much out of we came to an agreement that they wouldn't budge on price but they would however sort the scuff down the door and fill the paint on the scuff on the boot. after this we was left to discuss if we wanted to go through with the deal which we both agreed we would go into Loughborough get some food and then make a decision afterwards and we agreed this with the sales women, she told us that as we had reserved the car that she would make sure this stood for the day until we got back to her with our final decision. away we went, later that day we wrote out an email she gave us and wanted to purchase the car, an hour later i received and email claiming that the car had been put back on the website from head office and that it was all out of her control and she couldn't do anything, confused we rang Carsa who eventually put us through to the mountsorrel dealership to ask what had gone off and why this had happened, who i was speaking to i can only presume was the manager (who by the way was stood about 10ft away from us the whole time dictating what they would and wouldn't accept) to be told that they were really sorry but their policy is that if a sale is not complete by the time you leave that showroom that the car you've reserved will go straight back onto their website again, when i asked why we wasn't told this he had no answer but could only say sorry he then explained had we put a none refundable £200 down we could however of gone away and then decided if we wanted the car or not, after saying we were told none of this by his colleague and that we were told as we had reserved they would keep it for us until we told them later that day our decision he again just kept saying were sorry but this is our policy, if we were told this we would of put the £200 down and taken the hit had we decided not to have it. Having been on the phone for about 5 mins he told me that he would ring me today 28/7/26 with the outcome of the reservation from today if i still wanted the car, im still awaiting that call having now seen its been removed from the website im presuming its been sold. communication is such a key part of buying a car and this company seem to have zero, so anyone thinking of buying from this website, be aware the car you think you're going to look at in great condition probably isnt the case, an absolute waste of a day just because someone couldn't be bothered to inform us of a simple terms and condition that apparently have been in place for the last 5 years of their sales!
I had an outstanding experience at Carsa, specifically thanks to Conor . He was incredibly thorough, honest, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. It was clear that his priority was finding the best deal that suited my specific needs rather than just making a sale. I truly appreciate his professional approach and highly recommend asking for him if you’re looking for a seamless experience.
Five stars to Anton at the Towcester branch for his patience and support with the whole process of selecting and purchasing a used car. I cannot thank him enough. Five stars to Carsa for their excellent prices and willingness to transport cars from another branch. I would certainly recommend Carsa.
