I had a very disappointing experience collecting my car from this dealership in Bolton. I arrived at my scheduled appointment time, having already arranged finance in advance, so I expected the handover to be smooth and efficient. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The car wasn’t ready when we arrived, and only had 15 miles of range, I expected it to have been fully charged prior to collection. Instead, the car was sent for valeting after we arrived, and we were told it would be charged at the same time. During this period, despite finance already being agreed, I was repeatedly pressured into purchasing additional extras. I declined multiple times, but the sales team persisted until eventually offering GuardX for free. However, this only made things worse, as they then delayed the process further by “applying” the GuardX during the valet, which took several hours. In total, we were left waiting at the dealership from 10:30 until around 14:30. Even more frustrating, when the car was finally ready, it still hadn’t been charged and remained at just 15 miles of range. At that point, we just wanted to leave, so we had no choice but to go straight to a fast charger, which cost an additional £35. Overall, the experience felt poorly managed and quite frustrating. It seemed the focus was more on selling add-ons than delivering a smooth and professional handover experience.
Absolute con artists. Harvey in the Shrewsbury branch sold me the GardX tyre package and I asked for clarification several times about whether it covered wear and tear, he said yes. Came to use the package, told it doesn’t. When I emailed him to ask for clarification, no response - over a week and waiting. Will be looking at legal advice over the misselling of a policy unless I have, firstly, a response to my email, and secondly, a suitable outcome.
I hadn't heard of Carsa until my wife mentioned she had found a car she liked at their Bolton dealership while searching on the Cargurus website. Had a drive over as it is local to our town, (vehicles can be brought to a local dealership of your choice). We were advised to book a test drive (£39.00p, refundable) on the Carsa website, which we promptly did for Saturday the same week. What a absolute pleasure to deal with, the dealership was extremely busy, lots of customers, we were greeted by Rubel at the door, who offered us drinks and a seat at his desk, what followed was what I would call a very professional, structured and polite introduction to Carsa, regarding our test drive and eventual purchase, driving away the same day in our new car. Rubel patiently took us through the purchase and warranty options, guided us through the DVLA transfer of our part exchange, our bank transfer and taking ownership of our new vehicle. All in all a very different experience I have had in the past with other car companies, not pressurised in any way, just comfortable friendly chat coming to a amicable agreement.
I recently used Carsa to buy a car and also px my existing car at the same time. The whole process was smooth and stress free. They offered me a very competitive px price and the car that I bought was reasonably priced. Kelly was my sales consultant on the day and he was very helpful and friendly(not pushy at all). I would recommend Carsa to others who are looking for an stress-free way to change cars. The car was presented ok but was a bit dusty on the day (to be fair I think there had been recent dust storms in the rain) I’ve now given it a good clean and polish and it looks great.
