We bought a Range Rover from Cars of Penarth Road six months ago and highly recommend the purchase and after sales service provided by Miles and his team. The car was handed to us in top condition and when we had a minor issue a couple of months ago it was attended to efficiently, with excellent customer care.
Totally my fault for not considering the other one star reviews. Spoke to a guy named Steve about a specific car. I said I\u2019m coming from over 150 miles away to see the car. He said he will call me if it becomes unavailable. This morning left home but after a 100 miles driving some gut feeling made me call just in case, only to find out the car is no longer available. Steve, your word is worth nothing! What an ugly way to waste people\u2019s time!
\u2b50\ufe0f (1 star \u2013 only because zero isn\u2019t an option) Absolutely shocking experience from start to finish. Unless you\u2019re buying a \xa350k+ car from them, don\u2019t expect to be given the time of day. The only positive was the female receptionist, who was lovely and polite throughout. Unfortunately, that\u2019s where the good service ended. The man who answers the phone on Wednesdays openly admitted he \u201conly works Wednesdays so it\u2019s not his job to know anything.\u201d That pretty much sums up the level of professionalism. Phone calls were rarely returned, and when I did eventually get through to someone, the line was either disconnected or I was repeatedly hung up on. There was zero accountability. My car sat with a third-party mechanic for five weeks, yet nobody at Cars of Penarth felt responsible. The lack of communication and consideration was appalling. To make matters worse, because I was financing a \xa313k vehicle, I was told they didn\u2019t have to explain anything to me as \u201cthe car isn\u2019t yours.\u201d Completely unacceptable attitude. Needless to say, the finance company has now removed them from their trusted garages list. Avoid at all costs
Worst customer service ever received when trying to view and test drive a car, Didnt make me feel welcome at all and when asking genuine questions about the lack of service history but ( advertised with service history ) was told thats how it is and not their problem if the previous owners didnt service the car. BMW 640d 89k with no history other than BMW 11 years ago of course im going to ask about the service history. when trying to be fair making the point if i take it to bmw and it needs a major service or any small issue would they do it for me, i received attitude and was told to stop wasting each other's time its a 12 year old car course there will be issues. Dont get me started with the front bumper cameras being painted over and the roof not locking correctly.... How about dont waste my time and advertise your cars correctly.
I recently purchased a BMW Z4 from here, what a great and positive experience, nothing was too much trouble. A very chilled way to purchase a car, no pressure at all, had a lovely long solo test drive, the car was as described and of great quality. Steve harris was an absoloute star, nothing was too much trouble, Myles also a lovely guy. The car was prepped perfectly for me on pick up, and properly sorted. I highly reccomend buying a car here. Pop in and see for yourself. Massive thanks again to all concerned. Top marks. 5 stars all round.
What a disappointment. We inquired about a car we were interested in buying. We were told it was not immediately available and they will make a note to get in touch as soon as we can go to view it. We followed up by email and had no reply. Decided to go in to find out what's happening. When we got there we were just told it's already been sold the previous weekend and to top it all it it's still being advertised on their website.
Great place to purchase a car . Great stock from a Fiesta up to a Bentley what ever your budget . Always personal service from a very experianced staff and managment. Over the years have purchased many great cars and have had no issues that they havent rectified straight away . Well done keep the good work up 5 stars
