Bought a car with Jeff a year ago. I had no problems with the sale of the car, everything was in order, the car had a full service history book, everything looked fine. Jeff had the car delivered to me by a lovely gentleman. Honestly up until now I haven’t had any issues. Jeff will not reply to any of my messages as I have some questions about the car’s history as I’m having some issues. I just wish the aftercare was a bit better.

Am on car number 3 from here (pick latest up 4/11/20 ford b max lot car for your money and excellent on diesel . Car number 4 will be from here as well in couple years Would recomend this garage. Now on car no.4 vauxhall astra estate no problems with car had this two half years now ( usually change car every 3 years or so but think keep this one another year or so as it's so good and great on diesel and still only got just over 70000 on clock be Back for number 5 Jeff good service

Bought a lovely 7 seater from Jeff at Carnegie cars and from the minute I got there I received excellent service. Jeff was always at hand and kept in contact throughout. After sale of car Jeff continued to offer excellent service and communication when needed. Highly recommend using Carnegie cars if looking to buy

Recently got new car from here. The owner Jeff was exceptional in customer service, approachability, knowledgeable and extremely helpful when it came to finance and paperwork. After months of hassle, waiting and stress going through getting a new car I had exactly what I was looking for in less than two weeks. He even contacted me with something that I was looking for. Drove it home within a week. Helped with all paperwork and even went beyond customer service to advise my partner with their own stressful car situation. This actually helped to benefit and get a new car for themselves which they love and it wasn’t even through himself. (Thank you Jeff)! My new car was presented in excellent condition, thoroughly cleaned and have no issues with it whatsoever so ever. If I ever did I was assured just to give him a call where he would happily help. If you know roughly what you want and what you are buying and want excellent professional, friendly advice, and help along the way then I would recommend CarnegieCars in Dunfermline. I must mention the support staff were also very friendly and professional the pet dog is adorable.

Beware! Go to Arnold Clark or somewhere reputable. I wish I had. I purchased a car from this garage 11 months ago. At the time I pointed out some things that were wrong with the car. Handbrake, door trim missing, aerial missing and windscreen scratched. Jeff himself said he would sort them out. He then suggested that I steal the missing door trim from a car in a car park. I should have left at that point. Unfortunately for me I didn't. And it gets worse. 11 months down the line the car has been in 4 different garages including this one. It has been off the road for 5 months getting the problems fixed which continue to arise at an alarming rate. These have cost approximately \xa34000 on top of the \xa35500 paid for the car. The 6 months before the car went off the road and into a number of garages it was rarely used. I complained again during this time about numerous things. Warning lights, door trim and handbrake. I told Jeff that I have to keep the car in gear to stop it rolling down my driveway only to be told that all cars have to be kept in gear when on a hill. This is rubbish! He had my money and was brushing me off. Anyway needless to say I was fobbed off with it has just passed an mot. Time and time again I was fobbed off before Jeff took the car back 6 weeks ago and said he would see what he could do to help. After it was back with him for another 4 weeks I was told the car was ready and the warning lights were off. The car was collected just over a week ago at night and Jeff texted saying the car key was on top of the wheel and I was to pay another \xa3170 which was posted through his door. Still no door trim fitted even though he said he would order one and nothing done to windscreen except wipers fitted and nothing done to handbrake either. The car has been off the road and in many garages for the last 5 months and now the mot is due. The car was put in for an mot last week and to my horror cost another \xa3548. It scraped through with a list of recommendations the length of an A4 sheet of paper which will cost another \xa32000 approximately to put things right. The handbrake situation, which was pointed out at the beginning, was a major part of the problem. I made an appointment last week to go and discuss things with him at his garage. Needless to say it got a bit heated because when you finally catch up with Jeff he doesn't like being told that he sold you a complete banger that he has still not fixed. He has still not fixed any of the original problems including the door trim which he originally suggested I steal. Not only did he do nothing to help he charged me more money. He then showed his true colours by pushing me about and calling me stupid and manhandling me from his garage before he remembered he was being recorded for my own protection. The moral of the story is go to Arnold Clark. If you decide to stick with this garage take a witness with you. If you buy a vehicle with a 12 month mot take it straight to another garage for another mot as soon as you have left the premises.
