The experience at Carbase Weston Super Mare was fantastic because throughout the process I was kept informed but not overwhelmed with contact, there was clear and straight forwards explanations of the process and options available, I didn't feel pressured to agree to anything that I didn't want and my opinion and decisions where respected. The sales person, Danny, acted professionally and courteous whilst it also came across that he was trying to find the right package and value for me.
We had a fantastic experience with Neil Manville at Carbase and honestly could not have asked for better service. From the moment we walked into the showroom on Friday, Neil acknowledged us straight away. Even though he was behind his desk, he greeted us immediately, got up, came over and asked how he could help. It was a genuinely warm welcome and set the tone from the start. We told him we had seen 2 cars in the forecourt online that we were interested in. He handed us the keys and encouraged us to have a proper look around them at our own pace, and to come back to him with any questions. There was no pressure at all, which we really appreciated. Once we narrowed it down to 1 car, Neil gave us more detailed information and clearly explained the next steps. Although he would have liked to sort everything there and then, he was upfront that he needed to follow company protocol and we had to book a slot online. He even stepped away a couple of times to get clarification so he could give us the correct information. Communication throughout was excellent. We booked the slot online and received a follow up call on the way home. We requested Neil again and were provisionally booked in with him for Sunday afternoon. When we returned on Sunday, the car was ready for our test drive. Neil advised us to take it out for around 15 minutes and give it a good run. We came back really impressed with the performance. The only small issue we noticed was that the seats had a few stains and some ink marks. Neil immediately apologised and reassured us it would be sorted. He then went through all the paperwork with us, explaining everything clearly, honestly and without any pressure. He worked with us in a very open and straightforward way. While the cleaning team sorted the seats, we popped out for a cheeky Costa, and by the time we returned the car was ready and looking much better. Neil also made it clear that if we had any queries after leaving, we could contact him directly and he would happily give us his time. That level of support really stood out. He made the whole process straightforward and enjoyable. Friendly, professional, honest and never forceful. We will definitely keep returning to Neil as we are actively looking for a second car, and we would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone visiting Carbase. A top class consultant and a real credit to the team.
