I saw the car I wanted on auto trader for car quay. I called to arrange a viewing and went the next day. I primarily dealt with jack but everyone we spoke to was very friendly and helpful. I took the car out on a solo test drive which was nice as you got to fully enjoy the car. Everyone was more than happy to answer any questions we had and were very knowledgable. There were a couple of bits that needed fixing on the car but nothing major. This was all sorted and the car was ready to drive home a week later. There was no pressure selling or pushiness at any stage. I brought the car in September and did have to return to car quay in November with the engine light on. It was a sensor issue which was fixed a week later no hassle. I’ve owned the Audi 4 months now and apart from the minor hiccup with the sensor issue it’s been perfect. I would highly recommend the team at car quay as they are so friendly and helpful but they also know what they are talking about. Thanks everyone at car quay!

I was looking around for a car as my current car was more of my project. As I was looking in 2022 to buy the same car brand new with almost the same spec. I was Surprised when I come across this car for the price as could not find one like it for the Budget I had. When I went to have a look at the car they did not hide anything as the car was waiting prep. And I could see how it was looked after by the last owner. Megan was there from the start to help me though all the process. Even change the colour of the wheels at not extra cost. Megan was more then happy to have the car back to check over things over I wanted looking over. They even give me a loan car for free.would definitely go back.

Recently part exchanged my Jaguar XF for a Used Mercedes C Class coupe with Car Quay. Very professional and quickly executed deal with Jack Heywood and new car delivered within the week and lived up to expectations, Excellent customer service post sale with small problem with the battery but quickly and politely sorted out. Excellent aii round company to deal with and happy to add my recommendation.

I can only describe my personal experience of Car Quay as perfect. My purchase had a few faults that manifested during a short period of time that are not relevant to MOT standards, Car Quay was not aware of the issues, however there was no push back, no quibble and a direct action taken by Car Quay to recover the car, fault find and rectify the issues. I was offered a like for like courtesy car for the period whilst repairs were taken care off, during this period Duncan Eyre made every effort to update me on progress and ensured that I was satisfied with progress. Consider that I live in Scotland, they arranged collection of the car, replaced it with a quality vehicle to meet my needs, and ensured that all legal requirements were made at no additional costs to myself. I received my car back today and all the issues are completely fixed, both Car Quay and I had clarity and understanding along with empathy during the period process ensuring that all parties had maintained dignity and wellbeing throughout the process and concluded in a highly recommended satisfaction guarantee. I would recommend Car Quay to first time and experienced buyers looking for a quality vehicle for every budget and offer my 5-Star rating.

Having shopped around online looking for the car we wanted, we had seen a car on Car Quays and made a call to the dealership. We wanted to know the Service history & ownership details, and we talked to the sales manager Duncan Eyre and from start to finish Duncan was Fantastic with us. We had additional videos sent to us, along with many calls to go through all the cars details, and preparation details. We simply cant recommend Car Quays enough, from start to finish they have been Fantastic, thankyou to Duncan, Jamie & the Car Quay team for making our experience and great experience. Had nothing but trouble from day 1 of owning a car from this company. I purchased this car and it had an issue during preparations. I was told that they wanted to make sure it was right before i had it which I fully understand. I spent 3 weeks chasing Jack around and not once he contacted me with an update. Within a month of collecting the car it needed to go to a garage to have the rear airbags replaced which Car quay payed for after I paid the garage first then chased Jack for the money. Within the 3 month in house warranty period the car developed a noise at around 2500rpm. I was reassured the problem would be fixed and they wouldn't stop until it was sorted. I took it to a garage close to me that Jack had dealings with before. They diagnosed it to be the torque convertor. Car quay wanted to inspect themselves so it was returned to them. They found the aircon pump to be faulty and it was changed however the noise was still there and the torque convertor was never changed. I then returned to them again. They sent it to Bmw to be diagnosed. BMW were first unsure whether it was turbo or dpf. They finally diagnosed it to be the turbo. Car quay changed the turbo, they left the oil return pipe leaking quite bad after they had finished. The noise was still there. BMW can still miss diagnose just have a look over the Internet. After speaking to Jack and Craig i could tell they were not interested. I was told it was a characteristic of the car and they will not do anything else with it. I told them this is just a way to get of repairing what is wrong. Craig told me if i wanted a car which doesnt make a noise then buy a new car. I understand second hand cars can have issues but this is why warranty is in place and like in the beginning to make sure it is right. The sales team can never return a call. The after sales Manager is rude and not professional. I admitt to being angry on the phone but wouldnt they do the same if they bought a car and it wasnt right. I requested a meeting with Jamie through Craig but he would not sort this out and said he doesn't know what my intentions were. CRAIG, MY INTENTION IS TO GET THE CAR I BOUGHT NOT SOUNDING LIKE A BAG OF SPANNERS AT 2500RPM. The only time Jack rings back is when you ring up and speak to someone else and ask for Jamie because you are fed up with being avoided by Jack. They do keep you mobile whilst your car is being repaired which is a good thing. In the beginning I believed this garage to be genuine, professional and honest place but how I was wrong. Looks to me like they but all their effort into making videos on Instagram instead of sorting out customer service. I know the car is 11 years old and over 100k but i have still not heard an x5 with the same engine and mileage sound like mine. Obviously something is not right! Fantastic service from start to finish. Duncan was very helpful with finding and selecting a car to match my search. I travelled a long way to view and purchase the car and it was exactly as advertised. No pressure on sale and everything agreed within the purchase price was carried out. Great team and would recommend to others .

Veiwed and purchased a car with ease. Very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. WARNING do not buy the Evolution warranty as they look at previous owners mot's and get out of paying garage exceeds five star but the warranty is minus 5 stars.

By far the best used car buying and after sales experience I've ever encountered in over 40 years of driving. Apologies for the late review! In May 2025, I took a punt on a competitively priced Porsche Cayenne, which needed quite a few things to be sorted out before I collected it. Duncan and his team took on the list of jobs, including some which any other dealer would have refused. They included parts damaged or neglected by the previous owner which required replacement. I know they won't have come cheap. But Car Quay had everything repaired or replaced perfectly. When I had a couple of issues with the car during the standard 3 month warranty period, the team was absolutely superb. They put my mind at rest and paid a local specialist directly for one repair which I had to get done. The other repair meant that the car had to be left with them for a short while. Upon collection, all the work had been done, plus a couple of other small fixes that I had requested. Since then, the car has been faultless. I've never known a dealer to go above and beyond to make sure that I felt valued and that my hard earned cash and time wasn't being wasted. I would thoroughly recommend Car Quay as a buying experience, but as with any used car, make sure you test drive and check thoroughly for anything that you're not happy with. If anyone can fix it, or be totally reasonable about it, it's these guys! Thank you, all, and happy new year!
