Stephen Boulter has been a great help! Finance was tricky but he kept me upbeat the entire time and supported me throughout. Thanks stephen!

Be very very careful buying here. I bought a vehicle without being advised a very expensive repair was imminent. Legally they do not have to tell you so be sure to ask. Sneaky and underhand.

Went here to buy a car as we had been recommended, great selection and nice staff, this was the first car we'd bought in over 10 years and we decided on one The process of purchasing was ok ISH , but the customer care element was not what I would have expected Upon collection of vehicle no one talked us through basic controls, there barely enough fuel to get us to a petrol station, they are very blase regarding allowing you to drive of with no road tax considering the price of most sales are thousands of pounds I did hope for a little bit more customer service

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this company cargiant and would strongly advise others to be very careful before purchasing a vehicle here. I bought a car from this company only four months ago. Since the purchase, the car has had multiple serious mechanical issues. I returned the vehicle twice for repairs, but on both occasions the problems were not fixed. On the third occasion, the company collected my car again and kept it for over two months. During this time, I was left without my vehicle and without any proper solution. After holding my car for two months, they finally decided to issue a refund and informed me that they would not be returning the car. This situation caused me huge inconvenience, stress, and disruption to my daily life. A customer should not have to deal with repeated failed repairs, long delays, and being left without a car for months. The quality of the vehicle sold and the after-sales service have been extremely poor. I regret buying from this company and would not recommend them to anyone.

The worst and most stressful car buying experiences I’ve ever had. Update: The car was finally returned but after much stress, dealing with unfriendly customer service and I wasn't fully compensated for my financial loss. They provided me the refund link with wrong details 4 times before I finally got my refund. During the test drive, we noticed the car was pulling to the left. We immediately raised this with the salesperson, it was noted in the paperwork, and we were assured it would be fixed before collection. we even phoned Cargiant before pickup to double check, and they confirmed the issue had been resolved. However, when we collected the car, it still had the exact same fault. Despite promising they would only release the car to customer once it was fixed and safe to drive, they knowingly handed us a faulty vehicle. The very next morning, we emailed them again to report the problem. From there, aftercare has been appalling. When we reported the fault, we were told to take the car to KwikFit. However, when KwikFit tried to contact Cargiant for authorisation, their calls were not answered. We even had to phone Cargiant ourselves and hand the phone to the KwikFit mechanic, only for them to later confirm that they could not identify fault. We then tried four different garages, including the ones recommended by Cargiant and none were able to diagnose the issue. When we asked Cargiant to handle the repair directly, the earliest appointment they offered was over a month away, and when we asked how long the repair would take, they did not give us an estimate. We also requested a courtesy car to cover the period without a vehicle, but this was refused. We then asked if they would cover our expenses for repeated drop-offs and pick-ups, which they also refused. Finally, we asked if they could collect and return the car themselves to save us further inconvenience, and again they refused. Meanwhile, we rely on this car for work and daily needs. The amount of time, stress, and inconvenience this caused has been giant, all because Cargiant released a faulty and unsafe car instead of ensuring it was properly repaired. As a last resort, we asked to return the vehicle. They gave us a appointment date two weeks later. When we went to drop it off yesterday, staff had no idea we were there to return the car, they thought we were booked in for fault inspection. We had to show them the email confirmation proving we were there to return the car. Yesterday, we’ve dropped the car off and now waiting for their “internal inspection”. If they do not handle this fairly and promptly, we are prepared to take legal action and report them to the relevant authorities, including Trading Standards and The Motor Ombudsman. We will keep this review updated. After this experience, We cannot recommend Cargiant. Once the sale is done, their support is dismissive, unhelpful, and completely fails to take accountability for selling a faulty car.

I purchased a car in July 24. It's had nothing but issues, December 24, had to change the oil filter and now, total engine failure due to wet belt disintegration. Repairs attempted, looking like the car is a write off. I'm stuck with the finance, for a car that doesn't work and that clearly wasn't serviced as indicated. Never again. In the end, I had to give up and accept a quarter what I paid for the car, to be rid, plus a hefty repair bill, without ever getting down to the issue. Huge loss, left me owing money. The car hadn't been serviced correctly. It had the wrong oil in it and essentially, the wet belt was damaged. I did reach out and got no response from Car Giant.

Avoid Car Giant at all costs. I purchased a car from them in September 2024, in October a fault emerged. They eventually took it in and “Repaired” the problem. This alone should have been a red flag as the car was off the road for 17 days and the customer service was awful. 11months later (still within the repair warranty) the fault re-occurred and continued to re-occur after Peugeot looked at it. Eventually they discovered that the Engine is failing and would require \xa313000 rebuild on a \xa316000 car. Car Giant have washed their hands stating that it’s not covered under their warranty as it’s not to do with the parts they replaced. They repaired a symptom of the initial fault, not the problem, which simply pushed the problem down the road and are now in full denial. All this investigation has cost over \xa31000 just to keep the car running as it’s our only car. I am now in the position of having to pursue Car Giant through the courts which will increase costs further. CarGiant don’t care. Their customer service is awful, they are the worst of Car Salesman stereotypes just on a grand scale.
